Approval decision is taken by Monitoring Committee!– members from all countries must be convinced– mostly actors of national sub-committees involved– members of national-subcommittees
– highly experienced in assessment of project proposals– shall know involvement of institutions in their country before

Contracting of projects
– Information of the Lead Partner (within two weeks) after MC decision by approval/ rejection letter
– if approved: Grand Contract between MA and LP– final commitment of grants and legal finacial implementation
framework– basing on a standardised template
– Implementation of project (only ERDF and Norwegian funding) may start at own risk before Grand Contract is signed
– official implementation phase starts in any case 3 months after MC decision (1st call ca. Jan 23rd 2009)

Contracting between partners
– within 6 months after approval partners shall agree on detailed project-internal management and implementation plan
– partnership agreement– to be signed by each partner– basing on partner declaration and project application– specify responsibilities, rights and roles– specify joint procedures– payment procedures– common costs (e.g. coordination, publicity)– etc.
