History:Punjab College is the name of trust. It is known for its quality education, modern buildings, spacious lawns, central locations, air-conditioned classrooms, latest labs and well-stocked libraries. It started in 1985 from one campus in one city. The Punjab College of Commerce was the first campus established in Lahore. Subsequently, it turned into a chain of colleges that is now the largest network of colleges in Pakistan with 282 college campuses in 77 Cities..The Punjab Group of Colleges (also known as The Punjab Group) (PGC) is an association of universities, colleges and organizations in Pakistan. PGC established as The Islamic Commerce Educational Society (ICES), registered in 1985 by MIAN AMER MAHMOOD, which established its first faculty, the Punjab College of Commerce & Punjab College of Science, in Muslim Town on Canal Bank in Lahore, followed a few years later by the Punjab Law College. Since then the Punjab Group has branched out into the cities of Punjab.The group established another network in cities of the Punjab by the name of Punjab College of Information Technology (PCIT), the first having been established in Lahore in 2000 and the latest at Sialkot in 2005. Mohammad Ali Jinnah University in Sind and the University of Central Punjab are chartered universities of the Group. Punjab College of Business Administration (PCBA) was established in 1991 and Punjab Institute of Computer Science (PICS), in 1993 are the colleges of University of Central Punjab.Punjab Group of Colleges under the supervision of Mr. AHMAD AZDEE "BAZURAG" is the largest higher education group in Pakistan. Punjab Group of Colleges is also affiliated with Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Lahore which is the main stream of education throughout the country. Punjab Group of Colleges has over 189,000 students on roll. There are over 230 campuses of Punjab Colleges, 350+ campuses of Allied Schools and 3 Chartered Universities include in The Punjab Group.By the grace of Allah Almighty, our Group has made credibility in the society due to its commitment. Keeping in view the trends of the students and their parents, the management of the Group has decided to establish new colleges in those cities where such facilities are not available. This year we feel pride in announcing that Punjab Colleges have the largest number of campuses in the country. We are in 77 cities with 282 college campuses and more than 249000 students on roll.

Mission Statement:The Punjab Group's mission was to extend commerce education throughout Pakistan and to produce quality business specialists. The Group succeeded in its mission very soon. The boards and university positions proved the Group's academic excellence. In sports and other co-curricular activities, the Group also showed its superiority.The highly educated and trained academic staff and congenial learning environment are the marked features of Punjab Colleges. The teachers put their hearts and souls and take special care of the students to achieve their goals.Medical and engineering professionals have always been the basic need of a society. The Punjab Group responded to the challenges of the new millennium by establishing a chain of Science Colleges. At present, Punjab Colleges of Science are producing future doctors, engineers and scientists in almost every major city of the province. These colleges have the infrastructure to meet the growing demands of students in these disciplines. Students not only learn, but also develop their personality and sharpen their intellect.It is an established fact that to educate women means to educate a nation. Educated mothers are better equipped to successfully rise the next generation.Punjab Colleges have been providing quality education to both boys and girls at all campuses since its inception at Intermediate, Graduation and Higher levels.To meet the demands of today's young women and to give them a sense of privacy and security, the management of Punjab Group decided to establish a chain of Punjab Colleges for Women in all the cities where Punjab Colleges were operating.These colleges maintained the traditions and attained the highest level of academic supremacy. The top level of teaching at Punjab Colleges for Women can be gauged by the fact that every year our students attain top positions throughout the province. The long chains of position holders have never been broken.This all has been achieved through commitment and devotion to the cause and mission. We provide every possible help and care to the students and offer them many incentives as these are the hallmark of the Punjab Colleges.The student obtaining top position in the University of the Punjab is awarded a new car and free higher education at any institution being run under the aegis of the Punjab Group of Colleges. Similarly, a brand new car is awarded to the student who attains overall first position in Board. A new motorcycle is awarded to the student who clinches first position in the Board Examination.Co-curricular activities are an integral part of education as they develop a healthy sense of competition and impart higher values. Punjab Colleges provide many such activities apart from the traditional welcome and farewell functions. Students enjoy musical functions, mushers, debating contests, dramas, quiz programmed, study and recreational tours across Pakistan. Our students have participated in different competitions abroad.

Planning: The sensible organization first of all set their goals identifies action to attain those goals. Give the responsibilities to specifics individuals for implement action. PGC compression with actual performance with target. Mark the plan which organization achieve and keep focus on the remaining target. Suggestion is everyone is important. It is important part of the manager job. Senior manager is responsible for make plan and strategy. Organization depends on senior manager planning. Strategy an action that manager take to attain the goals. Strategy is an important key to regulate the organization rules. In planning of organization for year, manager analysis the expenditure the whole year. The make target to expend the area of working opening new branches, to improve better communication system in which everyone know about the organization plan. Getting more admission launching new program for capturing new student making campaign made and resolve the issue of parents. For facilities to employee are PGC provide life insurance, Medical allowances, provident funds. Dealing with crises such as shortage of quality staff. These plans are directly linked with the vision of the Punjab Groups of Colleges. The plan for new admission and launching new programs to facilitate gets more students. Make the plan according to strategy and manager the most follow within the organization to put that strategy into effects. Planning is used for making strategy and strategy developed to attain goals. According to the principal think whole year about admission. Strategies are modified according to situation and strategies are varying to see what competitors are along. Strategy can also be change according to external environment such as government regulation, different city areas, and different thought of people and looking forward for advantages and disadvantages of the organization. Analysis the competitor strategy and give respond to their strategy and choosing a course of action. When the organization went to make better and high standard then organization is strategizing. Strategies can arise in the absence of planning. When the student visit the college as examination center then can see the environment and judge the slandered of education which PGC provide so that is another part of strategy to get more admission. PGC normally display the result of past year and also show the progress chart of the student phase test. The PGC journey start in PAKPATTAN in 2012 the principal SHAHID MAQBOOL devotes his effort to make a strategy image of PGC. Soon PGC have studying line for getting admission coordinate suggest to Sir SHAHID MAQBOOL to launch M.com and ADP in semester system first time of PAPATTAN. First time PGC face competitor like Superior College and Ubiadullah College and then with the Hardworking of Sir SHAHID MAQBOOL of PGC get the hold in the PAPATTAN. Today PGC is not make business the education but it provide minimum 150 Students scholarship to facilitate the poor students for the bright future. Organizing: Organizing is process of giving different task is different people to peruse a common goals. PGC depend on principal for decision and principal suggest who report to whom. Its quality of the principal to manage coordinates with different department activities to attain goal. PGC divide their performance according to their departments. This department performance different function such R & D department is the responsible for the modern research and introduced new technology which provides help in innovation of education. At marketing department is the responsible for promotion of PGC in market and increase public shares. Media manager are also provide information to public on behalf of PGC and it deals with aids and enouncement of PGC. Admission department make new admission and regulate the rules for take admission of students. Admission department make policy for new admission. PGC want to provide faculties to parents as giving daily report of student on one click. Accounting and finance department is another head which deals with finance and revenue. Human resource department deal with patents and their new admission seeker to satisfy them and play rule in clarify the college to parents. Principal has taken the authority for making decision and it is under principal authority to give rights to sub departments. Organizing depend on planning and strategizing. For example to implement the decision to launch the M.com program in PGC. Principal setup the separate the building block for ADP and M.COM. Principal placed and coordinate Sir AKHTAR ALI ASGHAR in charge of commerce department and give him task of promotion of commerce field. Coordinate is responsible for implementing the strategy of growing M.COM and ADP.

Controlling: PGC monitoring performance against goals If the goals are not met PGC taking corrective actions PGC make intervening when goals are not fulfills PGC keep focus on controlling as give importance to planning and organizing PGC believe that without controlling they cannot measure performance and cannot judge their direction according to goals PGC control planning and goals to give them right direction First step of PGC is drafting plans SIR SHAHID MAQBOOL give responsibilities to coordinator or vice Principal to compare the performance against the planes Make analysis how performance are going successful as compare to goals Principal SHAHID MAQBOOL give the task of launching new M.COM program to coordinator SIR AKHTAR ALI ASGHAR to make this program successful and set the goals about performance. Similarly Principal se the goals for achieving F.S.C merit students marks. These responsibilities give to vice Principal ISHAQ MIRZA to accomplish these goals with stander. Principal SHAHID MAQBOOL assessed both departments performance comparing against goals. For getting better performance PGC give incentives to their employees. Incentives are given for encouraging employees and keep their moral high. Incentives provide attraction in job and helping to ensure that everyone is pulling in the same direction. Principal SHAHID MAQBOOL provides life ensure policies to his employees which is helpful for his employees family. Principal also make effort to give provident fund and other allowances to employees and these facilities are started from this secession. PGC take care his employees and giving them some benefits which encourage staff to devote their skills and efforts to PGC. An incentive is a factor monetary or nonmonetary that motivates individuals to pursue a particular course of action. PGC has a long history of giving compensation to employees. PGC give attractive salary and provide calm environment to making staff performance better PGC tries to give an ideal platform to teachers where they can utilize their skills and give quality education to students and make their future bright. PGC provide good environment and give comfort to his staff the result is that whole staff done their job great devotion. The employees of PGC are sincere about their goals and which they commit to PGC. The result is that now PGC become the symbol of quality. SO AKHTAR ASGHAR and ISHAQ MIRZA are not employees of the PGC but also the part of the PGC. They work proactively and control their own behavior. Which reduce the need for close personal supervision and other control Methods, They work for the welfare of students and make the PGC name famous. With the right intensives emplace employees work productively. PGC give intensives and introduce new policies about the benefits of the employees if the PGC is sincere with his employees then employees also fulfill their responsibilities and work hardly. There are strong relationship between employees and PGC and employees perform their job well.

Leading: The Principal visit in classrooms after each 15days. Written feedback task from students to know about their problems and finds out the solution of that problems after discussion with teachers. To effectively control the activities of the students and staff the Principal developed a detailed plan of action. To deal with other meeting Principal hold meeting with PCG head office. Principal make policies how to organized test series on time. Head office and Principal made admission policies and set class schedule. To lead effectively every department have separate coordinator. PROF. AKHTAR ALI ASGHAR is the coordinator of MCOM and ADP. Principal give regular reports to head office about their activities and mission statement. Principal motivate the staff by providing them opportunity to discuss their point of view. PGC can provide maximum satisfaction level to the parents and the students and by changing thoughts of the community. The campus has its large library with more than 1000 books to enhance the knowledge of the students and giving ease to the teachers providing them a lot of reference books. Established more computer labs to facilitate the students. Excellent learning environment of IT Conduct need based and problems focused pedagogical Training to teacher through IT. Lecture through multi media and with audio visual aids.

Conclusion:

Organizational strategies are the means through which organization accomplish their mission and goals. A college strength maybe in its ability to create unique talent in student to provide high level education or to have a present in all over the Pakistan. Strength of the PGC is also its effective culture its staffing and training of the qualities of its Principal PGC provide opportunities to poor students with a chance to improve their future and get qualities education. PGC are provide 150 scholarships to toper students. For master students and ADP student PGC provide portal and fast internet facilities.
