MERALCO Facilities Hauling

MSERV’s hauling and boat transport of 34 steel poles started on Nov. 13, 2017, together with the other materials and construction equipment now stored at Brgy hall.


Pole Staking

Pole staking for the proposed 34 poles has been completed together with Brgy. Officials & Batangas BC Representative last Nov. 14, 2017. Materials used are bamboo stakes with red caution tape.

• Initial testing and energization• Batangas City Mayor Beverly Dimacuha expressed no objection in proceeding with

the test interface/connection of the solar plant and the Meralco line. (c/o USAID/B-LEADERS)

• Next step is for LGU and Meralco to conduct a community meeting to explain test phase and that billing will start once the system is fully operational.

• 39 customers have already completed the Meralco application process.

• Finalization of Lease Agreement between Batangas City LGU and Meralco• Lease proposal submitted to Batangas City LGU for evaluation and conduct of Swiss

Challenge.

• As instructed by the Commission, Meralco to submit to ERC electrification scheme for Isla Verde.


• Challenges to DU Operations• Customer Service: Service Applications, Metering Reading, Billing,
