Outlining our Purpose• Provide bond-funded refreshed hardware

according to standards: teacher workstations and student access in designated areas such as Library, Labs, Special Ed. & GT

• Standardize network system to assist with district cost-savings and efficiency and to provide end-user benefits such as access to files from home.

• Provide a periodic software audit for licensure verification and refocusing of instructional objectives via software applications.

• Provide “just in time” training to end users to help make the transition as seamless as possible, and to take advantage of newly available features.

Campus Training Needs

• Technology Services has established a central Web site that can be referred to for project details.

• This Website will also contain links to needed training documents for the campus staff as their project is in progress (from the “how to’s” on migrating current files off the hard drive to the “how to’s” of using eFiles from home).

• Visit this site often for updates: http://www.nisd.net/technology/projects/index.html
