Screw flight restoration SPM
• Screw flights keep on changing according to its number of start and diameter.
• Our system automatically adapts to the screw profile by entering basic data like number of flights and length.

Nozzle to Nozzle welding SPM
• Customer: Larsen and Toubro, HED
• Welding two components without tack welding them initially increases productivity by many fold.
• This SPM is able to produce a welded component every minute.
• Welding process: MIG

Titanium tube welding SPM
• Customer: Larsen and Toubro, HED
• The system was designed to weld two titanium tubes ranging between 7 to 14 meter length.
• Criticality like oxygen free atmosphere, precise control over welding current and job positioning were implemented in this system.

AVC & Oscillator Slides
• Many applications require simple height control or position control.
• We have developed servo controlled slides for fast and accurate position of the welding torch
• It can also be coupled with a rotary unit for performing simple joining applications.

Turn Tables and Positioners
• 1 Axis turn table designed specially for increased production rate and better job manipulation dynamics.
• Adjustable tail stock mechanism for accommodation of multiple job variants.
• Cost effective and economical setup for entry level automation.

Elbow ID cladding Solutions
• Customer: Larsen & Toubro, HED
• Elbow being a non linear profile is one of the most hard to reach jobs.
• We have developed a procedure and automation setup for ID cladding of elbow with small diameters up to 6inches with PTAW.

Automated Guided Vehicle
• Floating roof top of oil container has a huge area and coating it in a given time duration is very important.
• The vehicle can be equipped with blasting system initially and then coating system later for uniform and fast completion of the activity.

Robotic hardfacing cell
• Customer: L&T, LEMF
• Robots can help in performing welds in complex motion profile.
• Hardfacing on face of a sajitacurve is one of the best example.
• A complete path can be generated and cladded by simply teaching few points for reference of the curve.
30-Jan-19 14
Robotic TIG welding cell
• TIG welding with a robot can be tricky as the process itself is very stringent.
• Welding angle, wire feeding angle, wire feed speed, welding position and many such parameters play vital role in the process.
• After initial job study and simulation the cell and torch can be defined.
30-Jan-19 15
Impeller and casing welding cell
• Big components like casing, shell and impellers can be welded by a robot.
• They required customized setup of turn table and positioners along with it.
• Technologies like through the arc seam tracking play a vital role reducing overall programming and setup time.
30-Jan-19 16
Lift cabin manufacturing solution
• We have developed and supplied various cells for lift fabrication shop.
• The process like welding, gluing and handling are performed by robots.
• A productivity increase of more then 3 folds has been achieved after implementation of the automation cell.
30-Jan-19 17
Robotic aluminum welding cell
• Welding aluminum via MIG process always requires attentiveness.
• Here welding speed, parameters and torch angles play a huge role.
• Aluminum being light material is used for development of bridging vehicles. A setup for same has been done at L&T.
30-Jan-19 18
Tank component fabrication cell
• We were awarded with this prestigious opportunity to develop a welding cell for L&T.
• The cell is responsible for welding of important components of tank like, side plates and hull.
• Manual welding is very difficult due to hazardous welding environment. The robot comes in to the picture for carrying out such welding.
30-Jan-19 19
IMM PP film setup
• Tata Autocomp is working on introducing a new technology in Automotive sector
• This will help them drastically reduce production cost and increase overall switchover time between variants in same components.
• We are developing a SPM which will be integrated to an IMM equipped with a robot.
30-Jan-19 20
IMM handling solution
• IMM can produce huge quantum of parts if the manufactured components are taken out ASAP.
• Manually this is not possible and neither a safe practice in case of higher tonnage.
• Robot works in sync with the IMM to remove the manufactured part ASAP to deliver higher productivity and safety.
30-Jan-19 21
Other notable projects
• Hex mesh welding cell, L&T HED
• Die welding system
• Laser cutting cell
• Billet handling system
• Automation Equipment supply to welding research center, LD college of engineering
• Research and trials on additive arc manufacturing
