Summary

long time ago there was a couple who was inlove named lumnay and awiyao. after many years of relationship thier love never bare a fruit, base on tribe law they must have 1 child or more if not the husband must seek another woman to be loved and have a child. in thier case the relation shipof lumnay and awiyao didnot succed, so awiyao looked for another woman inorder to have a child. and he find a woman named madulimay. and at the wedding before the last dance will be presented awiyao talk to her old wife and after that he go on to his wedding, lumnay watch them dance the tribal dance and after that lumnay leave the tribe and live on the mountains.

Summary

Datu Puti long with other nine chieftains plans to leave Borneo. Riding their native boats, they ventured intothe night and across the wide ocean. At first, the ten rulers and their families were afraid that they might perishin the middle of the sea. Soon, they have reached the islands of Panay and befriended with the natives called Aetas, the aetas sell their piece of land and the chieftains give the aetas leader a golden salakot and they live a peace and harmony place.

The story entitled, ‘’ Bakit Red ang luha ni Michael’’ was a story of two man which doesn’t have an specific relationship because both of them are bi-sexual. The story begin when Ricky tells their life with his partner, Michael since young and the closeness they have until the grown up college in Butuan, Agusan Del Norte. After their college life, Michael and Ricky went to Manila to strive for better life bringing only their five thousand money, transcript of records at sense of adventure. After six years of different challenges, Ricky and Michael rent a house and live in Quezon City.

Michael worked in an AD agency while Rickey stays at house for household chores because he had been kicking-out from his work as a production manager when he presented an informal artistic design. One of a very hot Monday morning while Ricky making a juice for Michael, the rusted ref. caught the attention of Michael and said,’’ the ref. was look rusty when we have visitor I will going to hide myself in the cabinet’’. At that time Ricky plan to surprise Michael by painting and making the rusted ref, a new one. When Michael went worked, Ricky decided to buy a paint and right size of paint brush. He chooses the scarlet red color because it’s romantic and hurriedly went home. When he came back home he painted the rusted ref. and with such extraordinary feeling he felt while painting those ugly things he saw, he unknowingly paint the entire house.

After a while someone’s came to their house, he thought it was Michael but unfortunately it was a mail man who’s bringing a letter to Michael. He found out that the letter was come from Butuan, from the girl named, Joan. In that moment, Ricky felt something he can’t explain so he painted the face of the mail man, made it ran shouting, ‘’paint in my face’’.Little while, Michael went home from his work, he thought it wasn’t his house he enters to because of so many changes. When he clearly saw everything around, he just cried and tear stream to his face because he though Ricky was already change and cured from its brain disease. When Ricky saw the tears coming from his partner face, he painted it until paint runs out.
