An Industry-University Project, Funded by RCN, Barco AS(Total Funding: 27MNOK, Funding by RCN: 11 MNOK)
Develop 20000+ Lumen Laser/Phosphor 4K single-chip TRP DMD projector:
1- Using efficient laser/phosphor hybrid light sources to replace lamp-based sources in Display Projectors, for better lifetime, wider colour gamut, lower powerconsumption, lower maintenance cost
2- Compact optics engine (hybrid illumination, reduced stray light, higher contrast, higher MTF)
3- Optical super-imposition and digital upscaling of images from 2K to 4K and beyond, algorithms and evaluation methods
