DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Development Assistant1. Gathers, computes, and assembles materials, articles, or documents needed in project research and development work.2. Assists in preparing required reports including computations, tabulations, formatting, and/or proofreading.3. Assists in gathering data/information for project preparation and/or implementation4. Maintains the central filing system of the division.
Project Development Officer I1. Undertakes the collection, processing, and validation of data and information required for the operations of the assigned section.2. Performs basic data analysis and interpretation3. Assists in linking up with or mobilizing the various individuals/offices involved in research/project development work being coordinated/undertaken/reviewed by
the relevant sector desk.4. Conducts technical inspection of equipment, reference materials and consumables to determine conformity/ comprehensiveness with approved specifications
and other related contract provision.5. Prepares inspection reports at the end of each inspection, properly noting contract deviation whenever possible.6. Consolidates inspection reports across various project sites covered by a particular contract assigned; assesses consistency of findings; and causes resolution
of issues arising on inspection findings.7. Assists in preparing periodic and special reports.8. Prepares certificates of acceptance for equipment, reference materials, and consumables if these are accepted by the end-user.9. Maintains a systematic master file of inspection reports and certificates of acceptance.10. Prepares Invoice Receipt of Property (IRP) for all accepted items to effect transfer and accountability to recipient institutions
Project Development Officer II1. Assists in formulating strategies, guidelines, and work plans of the assigned section.2. Provides the section chief with feedback on the efficiency and defects in existing procedures and recommends measures that would remedy or improve them.3. Reviews relevant researches and prepares synthesis of the same as may deemed useful.4. Generates and integrates ideas and concepts relative to: design and scope of studies and projects under consideration; design of data gathering instruments
and periodic/special reports; and packaging of projects as may be deemed appropriate.5. Assists in situational analysis or preliminary activity before design proposals are prepared by the in-house design group

6. Prepares preliminary designs and drafts of proposed projects7. Drafts communication and reports required in the process of contract implementation management8. Validates the program thrusts of the Department and priority projects to be pursued by Planning, in consultation with appropriate DepEd authorities and units.4. Draws appropriate organizational chart, terms of reference and staff requirments of the Division5. Reviews and decides on technical aspects of work and recommends to higher authorities, whenever necessary; prescribes actions on problematic situations.6. Reviews all reports and communications related to the job before such are forwarded to the Executive Director for final approval.7. Undertakes periodic evaluation of staff performance based on approved guidelines8. Coordinates the training of staff to be assigned to project sites to ensure that some staff perform their duties in accordance with systems and procedures set up
