Project concept

A conveyor belt has been designed constituting of deflector connected to a chain.

conveyor belt is used for transporting the forage from the store to the barn.

deflector is used for distributing the forage off the conveyor belt into the feeders, in predetermined quantities to cater for the daily consumption of each cow.

Project concept

Both conveyor belt and chain move in the same direction with the speed of the conveyor belt twice that of the chain.

Once the deflector riches the end of the line a limit switch is used to bring the whole system to a holt.

The design arrived at seems to be:

practical and efficient in distributing the sufficient daily requirements of feed for 34 cow in just 6 minutes.

Could be cost effective.
