How we might structure it?

•EXPECTED: A technology based project/product or technology product•Centres around student’s specific subject matter •Focussed on helping other teachers teach or students use it for learning (TP)•Accompanied with documentation and a rubric for assessment•EVENTUALLY: Feed into the Tech/Na! e-content component to establish a “Best Practice in technology learning materials or project”

specific projects• Develop materials based on problem-based

approaches in the classroom• Develop a set of technology integrated lesson on a

topic• Populate a LMS such as Edmodo (www.edmodo.com) or

Schoology (www.schoology.com)• Develop educational comic strips • Puppets for education (http://themediashow.net/)

What should YOU do?1. ALL faculty should be involved2. You should facilitate the groups of students3. Explain “what PBL is” to your students4. Be the groups support and content guide5. Assist groups in setting realistic dates (TIMELINE) for the

learning contract & project proposal (Within first month of 2nd semester)

6. E-mail project proposals to PBL coordinator7. Depending on the kind of project go through the specific RUBRIC8. Indicate to the PBL coordinator IT equipment and software

needed (Within first month of 2nd semester)9. Final projects are uploaded to UNAM wiki site at http://

my.unam.na/wiki10.TEAM assessment approach to projects/products
