Project Title: Student Name: Designation: Research ScholarSupervisor Name: Description of work1) Intermetallics reinforced aluminium alloy metal matrix composite with different wt % of reinforcement was fabricated2) Microstructures of the composites was taken3) Mechanical testing such as hardness, tensile test was done on the fabricated composites.4) Samples for TEM analysis were prepared and analysis was done.5) Samples for EBSD analysis were prepared and analysis was done.6) Paper has been written and under checking. 7) Poster on Processing and characterization of in-situ intermetallics Al3Ti particles reinforced aluminium alloy metal matrix composite was presented in the conference named NMD ATM 2015 held in Coimbatore from 13th Nov. 2015 to 16th Nov. 20158) Creep indentation test at different temperature and load is being carried out.
