Refurbished Projector
A refurbished projector is simply a new projector, rebuilt by the manufacturer. It has a brand new projector lamp and parts, and in most cases with a solid warranty.
Save Hundreds $$$
You can save hundreds by purchasing a DLP or LCD projector that weighs six to ten pounds, rather than one that weighs four pounds or less.
Leasing a Projector
Allows you to acquire the projector today and use cost-effectively until it no longer meets your needs.
Selecting the correct projector is based on several specific criteria.
Lighting, screen size and throw distance are just a few.

Entrance Your Audience
Your Presentation Theme
Turn your presentation theme into a story book as you use your intuition, voice, body language, and visual aids to teach the subject most dear to your heart.
Outline
Make your 1st or 2nd slide an outline of your presentation
Follow the order of your outline for the rest of the presentation
Only place main points on the outline slide
Slide Structure
Use 1-2 slides per minute of your presentation
Write in point form, not complete sentences
Include 4-5 points per slide
Avoid wordiness: use key words and phrases only
Slide Structure – Good
Show one point at a time:– Will help audience concentrate on what you are
saying– Will prevent audience from reading ahead– Will help you keep your presentation focused
To Much on One Slide
1. The third step in self- hypnosis is started one week after you complete the exercises for Step 2. Once you start Step 3, you no longer have to do Step 2.
2. For Step 3, you need a 3x5 card or a business card, which you can easily carry with you at all times. You are to write the suggestion you’ve prepared for yourself, which meets the criteria of being Positive, Simple, Believable, Measurable – and it should carry a Reward. Always state your suggestion in the present tense.
3. Again, sit down and choose a spot opposite you, slightly above eye level. Hold the card in front of the spot and read the suggestion to yourself three times.
Make sure the words on the card are believable to you and allow yourself to imagine accomplishing what is written on the card. Use your imagination.
4. You’ve written your suggestion on a card – chosen your spot – read the suggestion to yourself three times – now, drop the card and take your first deep breath. Exhale. Take your second deep breath. Exhale. Now take your third deep breath – hold it – close your eyes – count backward from 3 to 1. Exhale, and go deep into hypnosis.
5. At this point, instead of counting backward from 25 to 1, allow the suggestion to repeat over and over in your subconscious mind. At the same time, imagine that you are carrying out your suggestion.
You’ll find that at times the words start to break up and become fragmented. That’s perfectly okay. The important words or phrases will come through to you.
In approximately 2- 3 minutes you’ll have a feeling it’s time to stop and wake up. (Note: this time was set when you established a habit pattern in Step 2.) At this point, just count forward: 1…2…3… open your eyes and go about your business, feeling refreshed and relaxed in every way.
Slide Structure - Bad
Do not use distracting animation
Do not go overboard with the animation
Be consistent with the animation that you use
Fonts - Good
Use at least an 18-point font Use different size fonts for main points and
secondary points– this font is 24-point, the main point font is 28-point,
and the title font is 36-point
Use a standard font like Times New Roman or Arial
Fonts - Bad
If you use a small font, your audience won’t be able to read what you have written
CAPITALIZE ONLY WHEN NECESSARY. IT IS DIFFICULT TO READ
Don’t use a complicated font
Color - Good
Use a color of font that contrasts sharply with the background– Ex: blue font on white background
Use color to reinforce the logic of your structure– Ex: light blue title and dark blue text
Use color to emphasize a point– But only use this occasionally
Color - Bad
Using a font color that does not contrast with the background color is hard to read
Using color for decoration is distracting and annoying.
Using a different color for each point is unnecessary– Using a different color for secondary points is also
unnecessary Trying to be creative can also be bad
Background - Good
Use backgrounds such as this one that are attractive but simple
Use backgrounds which are light
Use the same background consistently throughout your presentation
Background – Bad
Avoid backgrounds that are distracting or difficult to read from
Always be consistent with the background that you use
Spelling and Grammar
Proof your slides for:– speling mistakes– the use of of repeated words– grammatical errors you might have make
If English is not your first language, please have someone else check your presentation!
When evaluating, ask yourself these questions
Is the visual easy to absorb within five to eight seconds (average attention span)?
Is it clear where the eye should travel and what the listener should look at first?
Does the visual hold your attention and support a key point in your overall message?
Conclusion
Use an effective and strong closing– Your audience is likely to remember your last words
Use a conclusion slide to:– Summarize the main points of your presentation– Suggest future avenues of research
Questions???
End your presentation with a simple question slide to:– Invite your audience to ask questions– Provide a visual aid during question period– Avoid ending a presentation abruptly
Use Sound and CDs with Your Presentation
Sounds bring life to an image and music love to the heart.
Take your groups into hypnosis with your voice, live or recorded, using your presentation kit in a bag.

Projector Lamp
The average projector lamp (replacement bulb) cost is $350. Today’s multimedia projectors feature projector lamps that will last for two thousand hours or more.
Take good care of your equipment.
Helpful Tips #4
Hazardous Climate
The most hazardous climate to a projector lamp is extreme cold.
Allow to warm to room temperature before turning on to avoid the scenario of an exploding projector lamp.
Helpful Tips #5
Moving the Projector
Moving the projector while the projector lamp is still on could shorten the lamp life
It could cause the projector lamp to burst.
Helpful Tips #6
Breathing Room
Without proper "breathing room," the projector lamp will be too hot and could burn out much sooner.
Pay attention to where the fan exhaust is.
Helpful Tips #7
Cleaning the Filter
Cleaning your projector filter regularly may result in additional months of use from your same projector bulb.
Helpful Tips #8
Cool It !!!
The most common reason for short lived projector bulbs is not allowing the bulb to cool.
