The candidate shall:
• Fulfill all requirements of Postgraduate Regulations;
• Pass all examinations specified by the programme;
• Fulfill Malay language requirement for international students as
specified by the University;
• Fulfill requirements specified by the Faculty;
• Be certified by Graduate Examiner Committee for approval of Senate;
• Return all library books of the University;
• Settle all payment specified
• Research misconduct is an act against the ethics of research such as fabrication, falsification or plagiarism
in producing the writing of thesis, dissertation, report of
masters project, working paper, assignment and
research findings in part or in whole.
• The disciplinary punishment under Universiti
Kebangsaan Malaysia (Discipline of Students)
Regulations 1999 may be imposed on a candidate who
is found guilty of committing research misconduct.
The Senate has the right to take appropriate actions including
suspend or dismiss a candidate at any time if the candidate:
• provides false information in respect of his admission or
during his period of study or for the purpose of obtaining
Degree;
• is mentally or physically incapable;
• contacts or disturbs or threatens the External Examiner and
Internal Examiner in relation to evaluation of his thesis;
• fails to maintain a good academic performance as
specified by the University;
• commits research misconduct;
• exceeds the period of study allowed.
