The State Bar of Georgia is in the process of planning for supplier-sponsored events scheduled to take place during this fiscal year that runs from July 1, 2011 – June 30, 2012; signing up now will allow you to maximize the benefits of being a sponsor.

The State Bar of Georgia offers a combination of ways to participate throughout the year.

OPTiOn 1Become a corporate sponsor. Pages 6-7 of this brochure explain the benefits of the gavel program.

OPTiOn 2Become an exhibitor at our Annual Meeting. This benefit is included in the sponsorship program if you elect any level of corporate sponsorship. The 2012 Annual Meeting is scheduled for May 31 - June 3, 2012, at the Westin Harbor Resort and Spa, Savannah, GA. This three-day conference is where alumni associations, bar committees, Board of Governors and sections hold various meetings. There are also multiple opportunities for attorneys to earn continuing legal education hours. Over the three days, there are approximately 600 attendees.

OPTiOn 3Become a sponsor/host of a coffee break, reception or dinner at one of the Board meetings. The Board meets - Fall (Oct.), Midyear (Jan.), and Spring (March).

OPTiOn 4Become a sponsor of the Opening Night Festival at the Annual Meeting. The sections are a key component to this event as they donate funds toward this special evening to help offset the costs, and have for many years. Join the State Bar sections in sponsoring this well-attended, family-friendly event.

OPTiOn 5Become a full sponsor of the Annual Meeting, or a sponsor of a portion of the meeting. Contact Michelle Garner for specific details.

In this brochure, you will find a contact information form for you to fill out and return showing your desired level of participation by Sept. 9, 2011. With your support, this year will be a great success!

Thank you in advance for your contributions and support.

Sincerely,

Michelle Garner Director of Meetings
