About the Conference

Digital era has drastically transformed the business landscape thereby impacting

accountancy profession. Four important areas of modern technology which have far

reaching relevance for the profession are referred as ABCD of emerging technology,

where “A” is Automation & Artificial Intelligence, “B” is Blockchain, “C” is Cyber Security

& Cloud Computing, “D” is Data Analytics.

Digital Accounting and Assurance Board (DAAB) of The Institute of Chartered

Accountants of India is making wide ranging efforts to ensure that expertise in these

four dimensions of technology becomes essential part of professional skill set of our

members. The objective of this program is to give a brief introduction of these

emerging technologies and their impact on the Chartered Accountancy

Profession. The sessions will take the participants through a journey to understand

these key disruptive technologies and how this has started redefining the way business

is done. It will then cover specific use cases which are relevant for Chartered

Accountants across functions of compliance, audit and financial management.
