Theme 3: Localizing Statistics Session 2-1: The Grassroots of SDG Statistics Strategizing using local statistics will be beneficial for targeted stakeholders but only with high quality subnational statistics can the decision maker effectively map their developmental programs. Lack of lower disaggregated data is one of the struggles being faced by SDG, which creates a bigger problem in efficient decision-making. By addressing the issues and challenges on the compilation of SDG statistics, these can be mapped towards the prioritization of the statistics at the subnational level.
