DANGEROUS GOODS BY ROAD & SEA
All shore-based personnel engaged in transport of Dangerous Goods intended to betransported ‘by Sea’ shall be trained in the contents of Dangerous Goods provisionscommensurate with their responsibilities.
Our Dangerous Goods by Sea course covers the training provisions of the International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code. Relevant provisions of the EuropeanAgreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road(ADR) are also covered.

DANGEROUS GOODS SAFETY ADVISOR (DGSA)
UK law requires any company engaged in the carriage, or the related packing,loading, filling or unloading of dangerous goods by road shall appoint at least oneDangerous Goods Safety Advisor (DGSA).
The legislation applies to all handlers, shippers and freight agents involved in thetransport of dangerous goods.
Our training course fully covers the syllabus published by the Scottish QualificationsAuthority (SQA). It is specifically designed to ensure delegates pass each of thethree mandatory examinations required to obtain the Vocational Qualification of aDGSA. This qualification is valid for 5 years.
All candidates should register for the examinations with the SQA before attending.

DANGEROUS GOODS BY AIR
International law requires that all staff involved in the shipping, packing, documentation,handling or carriage of Dangerous Goods by Air must complete a comprehensivetraining course approved by the appropriate national competent authority. In theUnited Kingdom, this is the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) under the Air NavigationOrder (Dangerous Goods Regulations).
Our Dangerous Goods by Air courses are fully approved by the CAA for Shippers,Packers and Freight Agents. Our instructors have vast experience in both the com-mercial and practical issues involved in the movement of Dangerous Goods by Air.They hold the required approvals from the CAA covering subject knowledge, coursedesign and presentation skills. Dangerous Goods by Air courses are based on theInternational Air Transport Association (IATA) Dangerous Goods Regulations.
