You can join a guided walking tour around the centre of Stavanger or you can visit Ålgård, the central town of Gjesdal Municipality, to see their newly regenerated town centre and hear about their proposed Fabulos Project – autonomous bus transport for citizens. You can also sign up for a guided tour of the Nordic Edge exhibition.
SOCIAL EVENTS AND NETWORKING: In the expo hall we have a new lunch area, start-up stage with pitches, presentations in the “Expo view” room on the second floor and several networking opportunities at the event. THE REGION: The Stavanger region includes 16 municipalitites. With a population of more than 330.000 it is the third largest city region in Norway. The distance from mountains to fjords is short. The region offers wide-stretched beaches as far as the eye can see, colourful culture and spectacular culinary highlights. A short journey out of the city will take you to the world-famous tourist brochure sights such as Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock), Kjeragbolten and to the many stunning fjords in the area. - Maybe you have to stay an extra day?
WELCOME!
Nordic Edge Expo, 25-27 September, is located at Stavanger Forum, one of the largest conference and exhibition arenas in Norway.
Nordic Edge Expo offers a comprehensive marketing and communication platform for showcasing solutions for smart cities and communities.
Nordic Edge Expo is a unique meeting place for decision makers from cities and municipalities, change-making companies, start-ups, smart technology providers and investors. This year we have a new separate pavilion, centrally located in the exhibition area, which is specially designed for cities and municipalities. In cooperation with SpareBank 1 SR-Bank we have designed a dedicated start-up village. Ambitious entrepreneurs and companies will be gathered to present their products and services.
