The education imparted to students attending Santo Toribio de Mogrove-jo Catholic University combines educational and scientific experiences with continuous modernization in demand by current social changes and trends. Thanks to the agreements that have been signed with important universities in America and Europe in recent years, the internationalization of our univer-sity has now become a tangible reality.
Consistent with our mission and axiology statements, Santo Toribio Catholic University makes a special effort to mold students during classes indepen-dently of their socioeconomic backgrounds and conditions. It is of the up-most importance to us to have students with adequate academic qualities for university studies. Furthermore, the scholarship program and the tiered tuition policy offered by our university give a lot of families from the northern region of our country the opportunity to enroll their children in our various programs.
Santo Toribio de Mogrovejo Catholic University is an educational institution which is promoted and sponsored by the Bishopic of Chiclayo and is located in the department of Lambayeque in the north of Peru.
This university is a community of professors and students who serve society blending faith and science as a norm of Christian life since its founding on October 14th, 1998. It has a first class technology and infrastructure, which facilitates personal and professional formation in accordance with the circumstances and motives, which exist in today’s society.
In the words of its founder, Monsignor Ignacio Maria de Orbegozo y Goicoechea, Santo Toribio de Mogrovejo University seeks to mold people into professionals with a high degree of science and a profound Christian life.
Our university does not receive any government subsidies or private funding. However, in order to carry out specific work for the benefit of all those who are economically and socially marginalized, we do receive support from various institutions such as: Generalitat Valenciana via the Mainel Foundation, the Community of Madrid via Cooperación Social, the Italian government, the Roviralta Foundation and the Italian Epis-copal Conference. All of these institutions are committed to our serious work.
Our main objective is to build character and mold students in becoming highly qualified professionals with sound Chris-tian principles in order to produce a significant sociocultural change within our society.

The Home University can provide a language certificate for the student,which accredits that the student has done at least four-se-mesters of Spanish or equivalent
Regular exchange: Students who apply to a regular exchange semester and whose native language is not Spanish, should certify Spanish proficiency that corresponds at least to an upper-intermediate level.

La Universidad de origen puede emitir un certificado que acredite que el estudiante estudiado al menos cuatro semestres de español o equivalente.
Intercambio Regular: Los alumnos que postulen al intercambio regular de intercambio cuya lengua materna no sea el español, tienen que certificar el dominio del idioma a nivel intermedio.

It is a mandatory requirement for students to have Medical Insurance with international coverage during their visiting term(s) in Perú.
La Universidad Católica Santo Toribio de Mogrovejo does not offer on-campus accommodation; however, the International Office can recommend external housing options.
To have the equivalent of 30 Credits ECTS in one Semester the student needs to take 4 or 5 subjects. The minimum of subjects are 3 in one Semester.

Los alumnos de intercambio tienen que contar con un seguro de salud con cobertura internacional durante su estadía en Perú.
La Universidad Católica Santo Toribio de Mogrovejo no cuenta con residencias universitarias, no obstan-te, Relaciones Internacionales puede recomendar opciones de alojamiento externas.
Para tener el equivalente a 30 créditos ECTS en un semestre, el alumno debe realizar entre 4 y 5 asignaturas por semestre siendo el mínimo 3 asignaturas.
