Chers Amis, chers Collègues,

Je suis particulièrement heureux et fier que notre congrès annuel ait lieu au SWISSTECH CON-VENTION CENTER, sur le campus de l’EPFL, haut-lieu de la science et de la recherche suisses. Quoi de plus stimulant pour le deuxième et dernier congrès de ma présidence que d’organiser cet événement dans ce cadre de renommée mondiale et qui nous rappelle nos années d’études et de formation.Selon nos statuts, notre Société se doit de défendre nos intérêts. Elle est également responsable de la formation postgraduée et continue. Le congrès annuel est donc le meilleur moyen de rassembler notre grande famille pour lui offrir un up date de la discipline, que ce soit dans le domaine de la chirurgie plastique, reconstructive et/ou esthétique. De plus, ce congrès présente une plate-forme idéale pour nos jeunes et futures collègues. Elle leur permet de présenter les résultats de leur recherche clinique ou fondamentale.Le comité, lors de sa retraite annuelle, a choisi, de concert avec la SGAC-SSCE, les thèmes sui-vants: l’oncoplastie et le face lift.Pour le premier thème, nous avons invité Emmanuel Delay de Lyon et Jean-Yves Petit de Sète. Pour compléter le thème, des experts suisses, comme Martin Haug et Jörg Grünert, exposeront leur point de vue.Alors que notre discipline couvre un vaste champ d’action, il est certain que la chirurgie esthé-tique mérite une attention toute particulière. Nous sommes donc extrêmement heureux que la SGAC-SSCE s’associe à nous pour son 4e congrès. D’entente avec son Président, Jean-François Emeri , nous avons évité de regrouper en une seule session le thème du face lift. Chacune des facettes de notre belle spécialité est utile pour nous améliorer et converger vers une meilleure connaissance et il faut éviter l’isolement technique et intellectuel. Aussi le panel d’experts du face lift est important non seulement du point de vue du nombre, mais également du point de vue de la qualité. Viendront des experts du monde entier, comme Bryan Toth de San Francisco, Ramtin Kassir de New York, Paulo Müller de Rio de Janeiro, Lakdhar Belhaouari de Toulouse et Darryl Hodgkinson de Sydney. De plus, Godfrey Muguti de Harare, Zimbabwe, nous parlera de chirurgie reconstructive humanitaire.En associant la Société fille SGAC-SSCE à notre congrès annuel, nous pourrons profiter non seulement de l’expérience de nos collègues installés, mais apprendre à connaître les nouveautés, souvent non invasives, de ce domaine qu’est l’esthétique. En travaillant main dans la main, nous permettons à nos jeunes de mieux se préparer pour leur activité future et à nos membres plus âgés de leur faire découvrir de nouvelles astuces.Le lieu ainsi que le programme devraient vous inciter à venir à Lausanne. MOT DE BIENVENUE DU PRÉSIDENT DE SWISS AESTHETIC SURGERY (SGAC-SSCE)

Chers Amis, Chers Collègues, Une nouvelle fois cette année, le congrès de la SSCE est associé à celui de la société mère, la SSCPRE.

Volontairement, avec mon collègue président, Quinodoz, au lieu d’organiser une demi-journée spécifique pour la chirurgie esthétique, nous avons préféré répartir le thème du face lift sur les journées du vendredi et du samedi, afin que le plus grand nombre puisse participer. Ceci aussi pour démontrer, si besoin est, notre volonté toujours intacte d’avancer main dans la main en collaborant de manière constructive.

Nous sommes tous chirurgiens, et même si nous ne pratiquons pas, à titre personnel, toutes les chirurgies, il est très intéressant pour chacun d’entre nous de voir l’évolution des différentes sous-spécialités de notre discipline qu’est la chirurgie plastique. Je vous encourage donc à suive un maximum de présentations.

Créer des contacts avec les plus jeunes est aussi essentiel pour garantir la qualité et la péren-nité de notre discipline.

Le congrès suisse est en quelque sorte une réunion de famille annuelle. Pour la fin de ma pré-sidence à la tête de la SSCE, j’aimerais réaffirmer mon credo, à savoir le développement de la chirurgie esthétique avec tous ceux qui désirent s’investir dans ce but. Il ne s’agit en aucun cas de créer une élite auto proclamée de chirurgiens esthétiques en effectuant une ségrégation malsaine. Nous faisons tous partie de la même famille et nos intérêts sont communs.

Je me réjouis de vous revoir nombreux prochainement à Lausanne. Vive la SSCPRE et vive la SSCE.

Ich bin stolz, dass unsere Jahrestagung im SWISSTECH CONVENTION CENTER – EPFL statt-findet, Hochburg der Wissenschaft und Forschung Schweiz. Was könnte stimulierender sein, als den zweiten und letzten Kongress unter meiner Präsidentschaft an diesem weltberühmten Ort zu organisieren, welcher uns in unsere Lehr- und Wanderjahre versetzt.Gemäss den Statuten vertritt die Gesellschaft die Interessen der Mitglieder. Sie ist ebenfalls für die Weiter- und Fortbildung verantwortlich. Der Jahreskongress ist somit die beste Gelegenheit, unsere grosse Familie zusammenzubringen, um ihr ein up date unserer Disziplin zu offerieren, ob dies nun das Gebiet der plastischen, rekonstruktiven und/oder der ästhetischen Chirurgie betrifft. Zudem ist er eine ideale Plattform für unsere jungen künftigen Kollegen. Sie erlaubt, die Resulta-te ihrer klinischen und/oder Grundlagenforschung zu präsentieren.Der Vorstand hat während seiner Klausur, im Einvernehmen mit der Tochtergesellschaft SGAC-SSCE, die Onkoplastik sowie das face lift als Themata gewählt.Für das erste Thema wurden Emmanuel Delay aus Lyon und Jean-Yves Petit aus Sète eingeladen. Um das Thema abzurunden, werden Martin Haug und Jörg Grünert ihre Standpunkte darlegen.Auch wenn unser Fach ein weites Gebiet abdeckt, muss der ästhetischen Chirurgie ein beson-deres Augenmerk gewährt werden. Wir sind deshalb sehr glücklich, dass sich die SGAC-SSCE für ihren 4. Kongress uns angeschlossen hat. In Absprache mit ihrem Präsidenten, Jean-François Emeri, haben wir verzichtet, das face lift nur am Samstagnachmittag zu programmieren. Jeder Teil unserer Disziplin ist wichtig und soll dazu beitragen, uns zu verbessern,unsere Kenntnisse zu vertiefen und uns nicht in eine technische und intellektuelle Isolation zu verschanzen. Dies ist denn auch der Grund, warum wir viele qualitativ hochstehende Experten aus der ganzen Welt eingelanden haben, wie z.B. Bryan Toth aus San Francisco, Ramtin Kassir aus New York, Paulo Müller aus Rio de Janeiro, Lakdhar Belhaouari aus Toulouse und Darryl Hodgkinson aus Sydney. Godfrey Muguti aus Harare, Zimbabwe, wird uns über die humanitäre rekonstruktive Chirurgie berichten.Indem wir zusammen mit der Tochtergesellschaft SGAC-SSCE den Kongress organisieren, kön-nen wir nicht nur von der Erfahrung der Niedergelassenen profitieren, sondern ebenfalls neue, oft nicht invasive Techniken kennenlernen. Indem wir Hand in Hand zusammenarbeiten, wird es uns gelingen, unseren Nachwuchs besser auf seine künftige Tätigkeit vorzubereiten und unseren älteren Semstern neue Tricke zu verraten. Ort und Programm sollten genügen, Sie zum Kommen zu überzeugen. Ich erwarte Sie in einem Monat in Lausanne.

Wiederum hat sich die SGAC-SSCE mit der Muttergesellschaft, der SGPRAC, für die Jahresta-gung zusammengefunden. Im Einvernehmen mit dem Präsidenten, Pierre Quinodoz, wurde absichtlich die ästhetische Chirurgie auf die zwei Tage verteilt und nicht wie gewohnt, auf Samstagnachmittag. Dies er-laubt den Teilnehmern, an vielen verschiedenen Vorlesungen und Präsentationen teilezuneh-men. Es ist auch der Beweis einer konstruktiven Zusammenarbeit. Wir sind alle Chirurgen. Auch wenn wir nicht alle Gebiete abdecken, ist es doch interesssant, die Entwicklung aller Subspezialitäten zu verfolgen. Ich lade Sie somit ein, an einer Vielzahl von Vortärgen und Präsentationen teilzunehmen.

Es ist wichtig und garantiert die Qualität und das Fortbestehen unserer Disziplin, mit den ange-henden Plastikern in Kontakte zu treten. Die Jahrestagung ist fast wie ein Familientreffen. Am Ende meiner Präsidentschaft der SGAC-SSCE möchte ich mein Glaubensbekenntnis nochmals äussern: das Engagement für die Ent-wicklung der ästhetischen Chirurgie mit all denjenigen, die sich für diese Sache einsetzen und kämpfen. Die Gesellschaft soll nicht als selbsternannte Elite wahrgenommen werden, indem sie sich von den anderen absondert. Wir gehören alle zur selben Familie und unsere Interesse sind die gleichen.

Ich freue mich, Sie zahlreich in Lausanne begrüssen zu dürfen. Es lebe die SGPRAC, es lebe die SGAC.
