Welcoming the groups in Riga International Airport /Arrivals: Hungarian group 01.10 PM, Turkish group 02.40 PM, Finnish group 03.25 PM/

16.00 – 19.00 Guided walking tour in Old Riga

Transfer to Plavinas to the guest house Naktsvijoles /located 20 km away from Plavinas at Jaunkalsnava, rural municipality of Kalsnava/

~21.30 Dinner at the guest house Naktsvijoles

Sunday / May 4

Time Activity

till 10.00 Breakfast at the guest house Naktsvijoles

10.40 – 11.45 Guided walking tour around Plavinas –Youth centre Ideja and children’s development centre Pepija

12.00 Watching of cycling tour near Plavinas cultural centre

from 12.30 Visit to Plavinas St. Peter’s Lutheran Church and Catholic Church Meeting with the Priest Ingars Stepkans

13.45 Lunch at school

14.30 Activities at school: opening speeches musical greetings presentation about the school, Plavinas town introduction with tasks, work planning and agenda setting

16.00 – ~19.30 Excursion around Plavinas Region: inspecting of fir trees planted in 2013 in Jankas visit of the Odziena Castle visit of the Odziena manor’s manufactory visit of the Odziena school department activities at the sport and recreation centre Mailes

20.00 Dinner at Odziena pub

~22.00 Returning to the guest house Naktsvijoles

Monday / May 5

Excursion around Latgale (visit of the Latgale pottery, ceramist Čerņavskis, snails farm Ošu māja and puppet museum)

Visit and lunch at the Museum of Bread

till ~18.00 Visit of the War museum, basilica of Aglona and King’s mountain

9.00 – 12.50 Project conclusion - session I: work on the project final report discussion of the project issues

13.00 Lunch at school

14.30 – 16.00 Excursion to Handicraft centre Mazā Kāpa at Koknese

16.15 – 17.30 Visiting the garden of herbs and presentation of eco-cosmetics products

18.00 – 19.00 The Garden of Destiny at the nearby village Koknese

19.30 Dinner at bakery Liepkalni

21.00 Musical greetings from vocal group Dzirnas
