Skills For Life Hospitality, Agriculture &

Childcare/Community Service

A facilitated program focusing on job skills required to enter the hospitality ,

agriculture, childcare or community service industries. Industry specific

training along with First Aid and Literacy/Numeracy training.

Date: TBA (2 day per week commitment)

Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) It is compulsory to have an RSA certificate

if you work in a venue with a general, on–premises, late night or packaged Liquor Licence, such as a bottle shop.

Natural Cleaning Products Workshop

Introduction to using essential oils, and other plant-based ingredients, to make

your own chemical-free household clean-ing products. Leave this workshop with several products you’ve made, plus the

Community Art Project

Create a large scale art project from start to finish. Learn how to

plan a project, find a space and add to the fabulous artworks on display

throughout the community landscape in Kyneton.

This group is currently running as a Facebook group and will progress to face to face sessions during term 3. Register through our website to join the group.

Natural Skincare Workshop

In this hands on two hour workshop you’ll learn all there is to know about

how to make your own natural skin care products without the many synthetics and chemicals found in store bought

products. Make and take home a range of goodies

Mental Health First Aid Training

The 12-hour Standard Mental Health First Aid course teaches

any adult (18 years and over) how to pro-vide initial support to someone who is experiencing a mental health problem or crisis. Learn about the signs and symptoms of common mental health problems in adults, how to provide initial help, where and how to get professional help, what sort of help has been shown by research to be effective, and how to provide first aid in a crisis situation.
