available. Pick up from 34 Mollison St between 12-1pm each Wednesday.

Emergency Relief & Financial Counselling

Catholic Care Sandhurst will be here each Wednesday providing Emergen-cy Relief which includes financial or mate-

rial aid to assist people experiencing fi-nancial hardship resulting from their cur-rent life situation or an unexpected crisis

event. Financial Counselling also available every 3rd Wednesday of the month.

COVID-19

Any Course, Event or Activity being held at the Community House will be subject to Government restrictions. This means that participant numbers are capped and subject to change. Please refer to the webpage for each activity for

specific details. As restrictions ease, details will be updated on our website and communicated through our Facebook page.

If you would like to visit the House please make an appointment. We cannot accept drop-ins until further notice.

Additional cleaning is occurring throughout the House. Please ensure you santise your hands and provide your contact details on the sheet provided as you enter the House.

Skills For Life Hospitality, Agriculture &

Childcare/Community Service

A facilitated program focusing on job skills required to enter the hospitality ,

agriculture, childcare or community service industries. Industry specific

training along with First Aid and Literacy/Numeracy training.

Date: TBA (2 day per week commitment)

10am—3pm Additional work experience days

Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) It is compulsory to have an RSA certificate

if you work in a venue with a general, on–premises, late night or packaged Liquor Licence, such as a bottle shop.

FIRST AID LEVEL II Learn basic first aid response for emer-

Natural Cleaning Products Workshop

Introduction to using essential oils, and other plant-based ingredients, to make

your own chemical-free household clean-ing products. Leave this workshop with several products you’ve made, plus the

knowledge to make more at home. Further details on our website.

Community Art Project

Create a large scale art project from start to finish. Learn how to

plan a project, find a space and add to the fabulous artworks on display

throughout the community landscape in Kyneton.

This group is currently running as a Facebook group and will progress to face to face sessions during term 3. Register through our website to join the group.

Natural Skincare Workshop

In this hands on two hour workshop you’ll learn all there is to know about

how to make your own natural skin care products without the many synthetics and chemicals found in store bought

products. Make and take home a range of goodies

will give you an intro to Photography plus give you some technical and Pho-

Mental Health First Aid Training

The 12-hour Standard Mental Health First Aid course teaches

any adult (18 years and over) how to pro-vide initial support to someone who is experiencing a mental health problem or crisis. Learn about the signs and symptoms of common mental health problems in adults, how to provide initial help, where and how to get professional help, what sort of help has been shown by research to be effective, and how to provide first aid in a crisis situation.

Qi Gong Rebalance body, mind and soul

Use the ancient Chinese energy practice of Qi Gong to learn how to boost your

energy and rebalance on all levels. Suita-ble for beginners or those with some experience, practices are gentle and
