The parade is a part of K-Days that’s as important as the fair itself—a tradition that has brought millions of smiles to children and adults alike over the past generations. Every year the K-Days Parade sets the 10-day event in motion with a sea of beautiful floats, giant balloons, amazing performers, loveable mascots and real life animals.

Fort Edmonton Park is a historically-themed attraction offering authentic, immersive, memorable and fun experiences to a broad range of audiences.

Key to the Park’s operations is its living-history museum component, which includes numerous historic buildings and artifacts (including a detailed reconstruction of the Hudson Bay Trading Fort circa 1846). The museum is animated in the summer through the talents and expertise of costumed interpreters and volunteers. Amenities and attractions at the Park include: period transportation (including a 1905 steam locomotive, street cars and horse-drawn rides), an on-site full service boutique hotel, a 1920’s Midway (including a Ferris Wheel, Carousel, Fun House, Chair-o-Planes and games of skill and chance) and a state of the art 4-D theatre, in the guise of a splendiferous 1920s vaudeville stage.

Description:

Come join us as we explore one of Edmonton’s many community parks. Coronation Park has a playground with an area for smaller children as well as spray deck. Games and an art activity will be provided as well as a light snack. This event will run from 10:30 am to 1 pm.

Do you remember drive-in theatres? Me neither, but we are going to do the next best thing: MOVIE IN THE PARK! Bring your blankets, bring your snacks, it’s time to kick back and relax with a nice outdoor movie. There will be some activities happening on the sidelines during this event! The grand entry is at 1pm.

We will be leaving Maskwacis at 4pm and will arrive back at the Terra Brentwood House by 5:30pm.
