Mar’08-till date with Essar Ports Limited Mumbai, as CFO of Vadinar & Vizag Subsidiary (Joined as Manager-Finance in 2008)
The port business of Essar has been consolidated under Essar Ports Ltd (EPL). EPL is one of the largest private sector port companies in India offering a range of port and terminal services for liquid, dry bulk, break bulk and general cargo. EPL holds various port assets housed in separate SPVs which are detailed in the coming sections. EPL currently has operations in Vadinar; Hazira & Salaya in Gujarat, Paradip in Odisha and Vizag in Andhra Pradesh. Work closely with the Managing Director; CEO & Director (Finance) as part of Leadership team and provide strategic
inputs and contribute to strategic decision making to ensure smooth functioning of the SBUs. CFO and part of the senior management to ensure project completion as per schedules and arranging for finance for
smooth functioning of operations and also for completion of projects under implementation Present entity results to Senior Board Members as part of quarterly Operations Review Meetings and Board Meetings Coordinate and attend quarterly Board Meetings and respond to queries in relation to financial operations. Compliance with all statutory regulations and ensure Service Tax, Income tax, PF, sales tax and ensure that there is no
non-compliance. Discuss with vendors for finalisation of contracts, placing orders with vendors for procurement and construction for
