When reliable conveyor belts for steep inclines are needed, possibly as steep as 30º or even 40º, then the solution will almost certainly be found within the excellent range of Dunlop profiled belts. Our Chevron, High Chevron, Multiprof®, Fishbone and Rufftop profiled belts have been specifically developed to meet the demands of a wide range of applica-tions, from packed products to bulk material of up to 80 mm lump size. Dunlop profiles are available in several high quality covers including abrasion, heat, fire, oil and fat resistant.

slope angle Chevron and High Chevron can be successfully used on slope angles up to approx. 30º for slightly rolling materials such as gravel and coal and up to approx. 40º for sticky materials such as wet sand and earth. It is also a highly effective belt for conveying packages such as sacks and bales.

carcass construction The ultra reliable Dunlop Superfort® and Dunloflex® carcasses, with their polyester-nylon (EP) fabric plies, provide long elonga-tion, high tensile strength and are impervious to moisture.

Other constructions available on request.* For ROS and Betahete cover qualities the pulleys should be selected one step larger in diameter.

Other constructions available on request.* For ROS and Betahete cover qualities the pulleys should be selected one step larger in diameter.

chevron and high chevronThe multi-functional, wear-resistant profiled belt for steep angle conveying. The profiles are moulded and vulcanised in one single process together with the belt. One of the key advantages of this very solid construction is that it allows the use of smaller pulley diameters. The 16 mm high Chevron profile is suitable for lump sizes up to 30 mm. For larger lump sizes (up to 80 mm) the Dunlop High Chevron profile with 32 mm high profiles will provide the solution.

belt widthStandard widths range from 400 up to 1600 mm, depending on profile.

Cover qualities Available in RA, Betahete and ROS quality. Other qualities available on application.

Belt edgesChevron and high chevron belts are supplied with moulded edges.
