Andrew Banks Chairman t 02 9087 6207 [email protected]
Andrew Banks was born in London and immigrated to Australia in 1972 where he began his career as an
actor. It wasn't long before Andrew discovered his passion for Human Resources and took the
opportunity to travel the United Kingdom, Norway, the United States, Europe and Africa to build on his
human resources experience - experience that would eventually see him start his own business in
Australia in 1985 via Morgan & Banks. This was the just the beginning of Andrew's adventure in the
Human Resources and Recruitment industry in Australia and abroad.
Today, Andrew (together with Geoff Morgan) is the largest shareholder of Talent2 and is also Chairman.
He plays a hands on, day to day role, being involved with the Company's major customers, the global
recruiting business and the Executive and Board Search practice, Talent Partners. This role keeps
Andrew connected to the business as well as performing the crucial role of Chairman focused on the
strategic direction of the Company and the Company's shareholder community.
Andrew launched Talent2 International (TWO) in 2003, a publicly traded company on the ASX, to focus
on HR Outsourcing and Executive Search and Selection. Talent2 International is now a team of 1,700
professionals operating in 19 countries - a result of both organic growth and 15 impressive acquisitions.
Before this time he worked with US listed company TMP (a result of the merger with Morgan & Banks)
in New York as Global Director. It was an exciting time after a successful 14 years at the helm of Morgan
& Banks which he founded with Geoff Morgan in 1985. Morgan & Banks grew to become the dominant
recruitment force in Australia and Asia, and commanded 17% market share. At the point the company
went public in 1995 sales had grown to over A$800m, before its merger with TMP/Monster.com in
1999.
Initially educated in Biological Sciences in the UK, Andrew's true education came on the job, developed
from real world experience. In 2004 Andrew and Geoff Morgan were recognised formally for their
sustained success in business via the Ernst & Young Master Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
Andrew's early career as an actor allowed him to be part of The Old Tote Theatre Company (later
inherited by NIDA, where Andrew is now Chairman of the Foundation). His acting skills inform his good
communication skills, knowing what to say and how to say it being especially relevant to Andrew's need
to inspire and impact favourably on his people.
A born risk taker, Andrew is passionate about the need for entrepreneurial spirit to be nurtured in a
nation - he knows firsthand the willingness of people to take risks grows wealth and creativity in a
society.

John Rawlinson (or JR as he is better known) started his working life as a Physical Education teacher.
Little did he know that when he swapped his track suit for a business suit in 1985 it would start a lifelong
passion. After some experience in a sales role at a multinational pharmaceutical company, JR’s career

revenues of over $300 million and 1,700 people spanning the globe in 19 countries. JR takes great pride

Pacific and around the world by 2015.
In a career spanning over 20 years in human resources and recruitment, with clients both large and
small across most industry sectors, JR is experienced in executive search, executive contracting,
organisational change and all elements of HR business process outsourcing. Before founding Talent2, JR
was based in North America as Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing, TMP Worldwide - the
owner of leading online recruitment site Monster.com. Prior to this JR was CEO Morgan & Banks
Technology after a successful Directorship of Victorian Operations of Morgan & Banks.
JR has a Bachelor of Education from Victoria University and a Graduate Diploma in Entrepreneurship and
Innovation from Swinburne University.
Outside of work, JR dedicates his time to his family, raising his three children. A lover of the great

Greg McManus CEO, National Payroll Systems (NPS) t 03 8508 5254 [email protected]
Greg entered the IT industry in 1971 and developed his experience in the areas of business application
development, mainframe operating systems support, database design, teaching and sales support. His
start in IT led to his involvement with a computer division of a major payroll provider. In the years after,
Greg started his own payroll services company and along the way was noticed by Talent2.
Today Greg manages Talent2/NPS as its CEO. From the time Talent2 acquired NPS in 2005 the company
has strengthened its brand and experienced continuous growth. It has also leveraged the opportunity
to undertake cross marketing with Talent2’s recruitment consultants to provide a total solution to
clients.
In 1990 Greg started the payroll services company National Payroll Systems (NPS) in Melbourne,
Australia. Three years later it was purchased by National Mutual and eight years after that Greg and an
American partner acquired NPS from AXA Australia. Greg held the position of Managing Director of NPS
throughout this time. Greg’s background to NPS was with the computer services division of Mayne
Nickless, the biggest payroll services provider in Australia at the time. It was here that Greg developed
the software and delivery system for a new payroll services offering for Australian SMEs called Payline.
Payline is still a significant and successful Australian payroll services provider with more than 5,000
clients.
Greg attended the Mount Eliza Business School in Melbourne to expand his executive education in the
areas of leadership, accounting and marketing.
Greg enjoys activities that keep him connected to the great outdoors especially skiing, sailing and
getting his hands dirty landscaping. He wouldn’t be able to live without music in his life either.
Being responsible for running payrolls for clients demands constant accuracy and attention to detail as
everyone expects to be paid correctly and on time. Greg knows to be successful in this area he has to
interest and engage the people doing the work by cleverly using technology and processes to reduce the
burden of detail and increase the value of the work performed.
