About Islamic Microfinance

People living in poverty need rapid access to a diverse range of financial services to run their businesses, build assets, ensure smooth self-consumption, and manage risks. th rdOn October 6 , 2013 AlHuda Center of Islamic Banking & Economics has organized 3 Global Islamic

Microfinance Forum in Dubai, U.A.E. with the vision to expand Islamic Microfinance all around the

world. During the day, conference participants had the opportunity to choose among various sessions

to discuss topics and develop recommendations. At the beginning of each session, participants were

presented with background information and discussion questions and following a structured process

of brainstorming and information exchange.th In 2014, AlHuda CIBE is going to organize 4 Global Islamic Microfinance Forum in Dubai on November

st nd rd th1 -2 with Two Days Post Event Workshop on November 3 -4 . The objective of the series of

conferences is to evaluate the scope of Islamic Microfinance and its potential in the developing and

under developing countries which will definitely help poor to survive at their best.

This year, the forum will open the new horizons, opportunities and innovation for Microfinance

industry which will help them in eliminating poverty with the support of Islamic Microfinance. The

vision of Global Islamic Microfinance Forum is to transfer the importance and value of Islamic

Microfinance for Microfinance institutions and to create awareness to the masses of International

Market.

The Core Objective of this forum are:

1- Provide the opportunities for collaborations/partnerships with donor agencies, Multilateral

organization, Charities, philanthropist organizations, Islamic financial institutions.
