Distribution of facemasks and hand sanitizer

Since early 2020, the new coronavirus pandemic has

spread to Hong Kong. From March, the situation hasbecome more serious while protective materials were inshort supply. In view of such circumstances, Grace Charitycontacted suppliers and got hold of facemasks and handsanitizer for distribution through our volunteers to people inneed. Districts include San Po Kong, Ngau Tau Kok, MongKok, Yau Ma Tei, Sham Shui Po, Fan Ling and SheungShui. Our target group included grassroot people andsanitary workers. Our volunteers were not afraid of dirt andpersonally handed over the facemasks and hand sanitizerto the janitors in the refuse depots. Grace Charity alsopresented the facemasks and hand sanitizer to elderlypeople’s homes. From April to June, Grace Charity gaveaway tens of thousands of facemasks. It is hoped thatthe coronavirus pandemic will recede soon and smilescome back among us.
