Professor Urs Hauenstein appointed as Honorary

Professor at the 11th

April 2019 from Agora

University of Oradea.

The President of the International Council for

Leadership, Governance, Entrepreneurship and

Management London UK will receive an honorary

professorship at the Agora University of Oradea in

recognition of his many years of exemplary

commitment to the field of Higher Education in

Europe and Eastern Europe.

His outstanding contributions to the promotion and

further change and transformation of science, industry

and society is a viable contribution towards

sustainable development of Education in the 21st

Century.

The Agora University has been appointing outstanding academics to the special position of

Honorary Professor. In principle, the title of a Honorary Professor of the Agora University is for

life, and is reserved for scholars who work at an academic teaching or research institute as a

professor, visiting professor or emeritus professor, and who have highly distinguished themselves

academically.

Honorary Professors are expected to give regular guest lectures or contribute to research, so as to

advance the quality of teaching and research at the Agora University. At official and ceremonial

events, Honorary Professors are considered Agora University professors and may also make use of

all the University's facilities.

Urs Hauenstein is a unique international visionary and networker for new Education towards

Sustainability. Urs Hauenstein is internationally networked within the field of Higher Education and

with various International Organisations.

Volunteer Presidencies:

of the International Council of Leadership, Governance, Entrepreneurship and Management

(ICLGEM),

the Association of Swiss Quality Competencies and Qualifications (SQCQ),

the Institute of Competencies and Qualifications in Switzerland

and the International Network for Accreditation, Recognition and Dissemination in UK

(INARD).

In these functions he serves as well as Distinguished Visiting Professor in different Colleges /

Universities in Eastern Europe and UK.

Fellowships and Board Memberships:

He supports the Leeds Beckett University / Centre of Governance, Leadership and Global

Responsibility as Honorary Fellow in research, networking and fundraising/marketing

and the Globethics.net in Geneva as Senior Fellow within the field of Global Ethics Chairs,

profiling / branding / marketing and fundraising, quality management and accreditation

as well as the Lincoln International Business School LIBS of the Lincoln University as

advisory board member for Internationalisation.

He has been a keynote and master-class speaker at various international summits and conferences.

He acts as a ‘Goodwill Ambassador for Internationalisation’ and TV moderator/editor for live

shows at the organisation Business Days and the Central and Eastern European Entrepreneurship

Summits and for the International Council.

As Senior Consultant, Lead Adviser, Auditor/Assessor, Counsellor and Facilitator, he has been

guiding manufacturers and industry groups, companies, associations, organisations as well as

professional, administrative and political bodies internationally in different expertise areas:

Business Management, Operations Management, Effectiveness and Optimization (Priorities,

Performance and Value Management), Multi-Channel-Marketing, HRM, Internationalisation,

Future Education and Pedagogy fur sustainable learning, Change and Transformation Management,

QM, Accreditation, Ethics, Responsive and Responsible Leadership, Governance and

Entrepreneurship.

Urs Hauenstein initiated the research projects Management 21, Incubator 21, Accelerator 21,

Priorities and has authored or co-authored more than 70 original articles, review papers, case

reports, book chapters/books in German and English.
