• BPE (McMaster), MHK (Windsor), MEd (HK PolyU), PhD (Waterloo)

• Biomechanics

• Worked in Canada, Australia, Hong Kong (x2), England, and New Zealand

• Departments of Rehabilitation Sciences, Sport and Exercise Sciences, Healthcare Professions, Physical and Health Education

• Research interests:

• Gait analysis, balance, sport skills, methods (EMG, modeling)

• Teaching interests:

• Biomechanics, Gait Analysis, Muscle Mechanics, Laboratory Techniques in Human Motion


BRIEF HISTORY• Motion analysis laboratory – goal for several years at SMU

• CSPM, PT, and OT departments

• Issues of money, space, and infrastructure support

• Money:

• Community responded with over $600,000 in donations

• Donors include SMU staff and alumni

• Space:

• SMU agreed to the repurpose of a classroom in HEC

• Infrastructure:
