Personal pronouns and verb to be Cuando hablamos acerca de lo que hace una persona es necesario usar la siguiente estructura: Personal Pronoun + verb to be + article a/an + profession

Cuando hablamos de profesiones es comun usar los siguientes aspectos:

Personal Pronouns Verb to be NegativeI = yo Am = soy o estoy I am not = no soy o no estoy

You = tu Are = eres o estas You are not = no eres o no estas

He = el Is = es o esta He is not = no es o no esta

She = ella Is = es o esta She is not = no es o no esta

It = ello Is = es o esta It is not = no es o no esta

They = ellos Are = son o estan They are not = no son o no estan

We = nosotros Are = somos o estamos We are not = no son o no estan

You = ustedes Are = son o estan You are not = no son o no estan

Personal pronouns: comprende un conjunto que muestra los contrastes de la persona, género, número y caso.

Ejemplo: We are teachers. (Nosotros somos maestros) Verb to be: El verbo "to be" significa ser o estar. Indica

profesión (ej. I am a pilot = yo soy piloto), expresa sentimientos (ej. I am tired = yo estoy cansado) e informa

sobre la edad (ej. I am ten years old = tengo diez años).

Tambien el verbo TO BE puede presentarse de forma negativa.La negación se construye añadiendo el adverbio "not":

La oración afirmativa siguiente: he is an actor = él es un actorSe convierte en negativa añadiendo "not":

he is not an actor = él no es un actor

How to use the articles “a” and “an” Usamos “A” cuando la profesion o ocupacion a la que nos

queremos referir comienza por una consonante.Ejemplo: He is a fireman.

She is a model Usamos “an” cuando la profesion o ocupacion a la que nos

queremos referir comienza por una vocal.Ejemplo: She is an artist.
