New changes on the horizon: the LTEThe LTE is expected to have significant effects on the reception of television signals and these effects are forcing manufacturers to adapt the devices that they have already installed. But, what do these processes actually entail? The Digital Dividend will free up the frequencies situated between channels 61 and 69, that have to be vacated by television services so that the frequencies can be occupied by broadband mobile telephone operators. Ikusi has prepared for this process and developed the electronic equipment required to ensure that the television signals will continue to be received and processed with the highest quality, once the frequency switchover takes place.

But the changes do not end there. When the telephone companies start using the channels left open by the television services, they may cause interference and loss of quality in the signal reception of the installations that haven’t been updated with the appropriate products.

LTE is what will be causing these interferences. Ikusi has developed and patented technological solutions that are able to reject any interference, even in areas near the main signal emitters and independently of the existing equipment. These are technologically advanced
