COURSE OVERVIEW
This is a two day course that covers the principles and
(empirical) process theory underpinning the Scrum
framework and the role of the Scrum Master in it. The
course is a combination of instruction and team-based
exercises and teaches what is at the heart of the Scrum and
Agile movement.
WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?
You will see why PSM is the cutting-edge course for

Assessment There are three levels of assessment available :
PSM I
People who have passed PSM I, achieving
certification, demonstrate a fundamental level
of Scrum mastery. PSM I certificate holders
prove that they understand Scrum as described
in the Scrum Guide and the concepts of
applying Scrum. PSM I holders have a
consistent terminology and approach to
Scrum.. The certifications require a minimum
passing score.
PSM II
People who have passed PSM II, achieving
certification, demonstrate an advanced level
of Scrum mastery. PSM II certificate holders
prove that they have an understanding of the
underlying principles of Scrum and can
effectively apply Scrum in complex, real-world
situations.
PSM III
People who have passed PSM III, achieving
certification, demonstrate a distinguished
level of Scrum mastery. PSM III certificate
holders have a deep understanding of the
application and practices of Scrum and the
Scrum Values in a variety of complex team and
organisational situations.
On Passing the Exam If you pass the PSM I assessment, you will
receive the industry-recognised "PSM I"
certification, along with a PSM I logo that you
can use to identify your achievement. In
addition, your name will be posted publicly
for colleagues, managers, and potential
employers to see.

I completed my Professional Scrum Master (PSM) Level II certification. I wanted
real-world applied knowledge and from some like Rob, an Agile Coach, who is a
master of test automation techniques. While online solutions from various
technical forums can be helpful, these are not always relevant or reliable.
Completing the PSM course gave me a solid point of reference. It was in depth
and I learnt more about how far scrum could change the world of software
engineering. From the course, I understood the resistance and anxiety felt by
practitioners of waterfall frameworks.
How has the PSM certification helped me? Greater depth of understanding.
Knowing when to stay on particular jobs and when to leave. Ken Schwaber said
that only 30% of all teams and organisations using scrum will become excellent
development organisations. With each successive organisation I work with, my
real-world experiences grow and the organisations themselves benefit from scrum.
PSM has helped me to realise which software I would want to spend months
working on and which I would not".
