KIMO was set up in Dordogne (24) in 1979 and the headquarters are still located there. Installed on the Montpon industrial estate, the premises, with a

2surface area of 1800 m , include workshops, design bureaux, labotories, offices and an exhibition hall.

The company specialises in the design and manufacture of measurement devices for the monotoring of air speed and flow, pressure, humidity and temperature.KIMO equips both small air conditioning installers and large-scale industries thanks to a wide range of portable or fixed devices which meet each client's requirements. The company is involved in markets as varied as pharmaceutical laboratories, airports, nucear plants, armaments, the paper industry and the automobile industry.

As it is very important to guarantee quality, the company is constantly carrying out development work in its own laboratories in order to monitor its own devices, but it also carries out calibration work according to AFNOR norms in air pressure, temperature, humidity, speed and flow.

For almost twenty years now the company has prided itself on its constant progress in research, development and the quality of its services.The company does not merely wait to hear what its clients' requirements are, it makes every effort to stimulate demand. The fact that the average age of executives is 28 years witness to the company's intention of "definitely looking to the future".

KIMO was set up by Mr MOULINET in 1979.KIMO is a 100% French-owned compagny.In its early days, the company was orientated towards the design and manufacture of liquid column manometers.

Thanks to two opportune meetings, one with Mr TERMINI, a director of TGM and the other with Mr NADOT of SNELCO, KIMO has made constant progress and diversified towards cutting edge technologies : measuring hardware and fittings (both physical and electronic).In 1984, Mr MOULINET and Mr TERMINI decided upon a close collaboration between KIMO and TGM.In 1987, the two men created two distinct KIMO companies in which each of them held 50% of the capital : one of them to manufacture, the other to sell.In 1991, the two associates set up a single company (merger).Mr TERMINI was the commercial director and managed the offices in Paris and Mr MOULINET was the manager and director of the manufacturing factory in Montpon. In 1992, Mr NADOT came in on KIMO's share capital. He was entrusted with the development of new products and responsability for the electronic design and engineering bureau.

In 1995, the KIMO LYONS agency was set up and in 1997 a new agency was opened in Rennes.

1998 saw the company take a new direction.The SARL (private company) is converted into an SA (limited company) with the share capital being opened up to the company and its financial partner's executives.

Today, KIMO's objective is to develop its export market.A considerable amount of work has already been carried out, in particular have been signed with Belgium, Morocco, Lebanon, Tunisia...In January 1999 an export department has been set up at the Paris offices.End 99, KIMO and Eurotron (Italy) are producing a large range of combustion efficiency controls, in partnership.Since April 2001, KIMO meets with the international ISO 9001 requirements. This certification is final step of a quality policy, supported by the management, and rewards the efforts of organization gathered in order to satisfy the clients.

In October 2001, the KIMO North agency has opened its doors et Lille. In January 2002, KIMO P.A.C.A was set up at Aix en Provence.

1999 :- Creation of an export department in Paris- Partnership with Eurotron for the development of combustion efficiency controls.

With three after sales services sites, KIMO offers you a solution close at hand for the maintenance of your equipment. After receiving, studying and accepting our estimate, we guarantee you a rapid solution for the repairing of your instruments.Equipped to monitor all of the parameters used in the climatic engineering, our calibration banks are equipped with resources for regularly checked measuring operations in laboratories which are certified by the BNM COFRAC. The respecting of and follow-up on normalised calibration procedures and the issuing of the normalised AFNOR certificate guarantee the quality of these operations as well as the follow-up on your equipment.

Pressure sensors-transmitters :

The new range of KIMO very low pressure sensors is aimed at the measurement and monitoring of your clean rooms or any premises which require great accuracy in measurement. The CPN-CPA sensors operate in differential pressure and depression on scales of measurement from 0-50 to 0-5000 Pa. Equipped with a permanent self-calibration system, they provide you with a degree of accuracy which is greater than 0.5% and an inalterable quality of measurement. The great diversity of their casings makes it possible to offer versions which can be built in, which can be swivelled or fixed with various protection rates from IP40 to IP65. Their 4-20 mA or 0-10 V analogue outputs, their 2 or 4 relays with programmable thresholds and their square root extraction function make them the best possible guarantee of the accuracy of your low pressure measurements.

KIMO offers you a complete range of liquid column manometers. Inclined, vertical, transportable, they allow you to accurately monitor the slight variations in pressure, depression and differential pressure of the air or of neutral gases in scales from 50 Pa to 2.6 bars. Ideal for your dust removal and ventilation applications, for monitoring the clogging of filters, for clean room overpressure, etc. They provide the reliability given by a physical measurement in association with French manufacturing quality.

The new range of KIMO portable electronic instruments is aimed at climatic engineering and industry. Single or multi-function, they allow you to accurately measure and monitor all air parameters : Speed - Pressure - Air flow - Humidity - Temperature. Developed in collaboration with regulation professionals, their ergnomics, their ease of use and their reliability make them essential tools in the field. Supplied with an infrared interface, they allow you to exploit your measurements on a computer and to print out your results.
