Our stainless steel Panel PC fulfil all of these requirements and have German Social Accident Insurance (DGUV) “Hygiene-tested” certification.

Manufacturing and productionUnexpected downtime has an immediate impact on the efficien-cy of production plant and systems. Reliability and failure-safety of the control panels for production processes are therefore absolutely necessary. Warehousing and logisticsWhether indoors or outdoors, tough working conditions are typical in logistics and warehousing. Modular connection system – uniquely different!With the help of our connection adapter, the panel can be easily mounted on a wide range of support arm systems or stands from any manufacturer. Mounting using a VESA adapter is also possible. Our innovative connection system is the most user-friendly in the industry: • panel installation on the 48 mm support tube can be completed by just one person• after mounting, the coupling can be turned by 600°, ensuring that it can be perfectly positioned at any time• an adjustment sleeve can be used to configure the torque and can then be fixed permanently into place with an internal screw• VESA mount – cables are connected here using a multipart cable entry system for preassembled cables• all cables are easy and straightforward to connect, since the connection/PC unit features a special design making it easy to open and close, and providing enough space for installation work

CS-Line - Stainless steel Panel PC / MonitorsStainless steel Panel PC with “Hygiene certificate” – a sign for peace of mindOur “CS-Line” is especially suited for use in chemicals, hygiene and food applications. To meet these demanding requirements while also fulfilling the goal of maximum safety, CRE Rösler Electronic has obtained “Hygiene tested” certification and an Ex Zone 2 and 22 rating for its stainless steel Panel PC.

Support arm systems up to IP69KThe housing, which is sealed to offer maximum protection against soiling, is also easy and straightfor-ward to clean, since this means Panel PC are unaffected by water and disinfectants (even acids and bases). By using a VESA mount or stainless steel flange, the PC can be quickly and securely moun-ted on any industry-standard support arm systems, stand or other fixing system.

If IP69K is required, specialised stainless steel suspension arm systems are available with internal connections and cables. Support arm system for any applicationIn order to optimally integrate the Panel PC/monitors into your production environment, we offer you complete solutions for support arm systems, mounts and stands. In order to offer you the best-pos-sible complete solution, we work with leading support arm manufacturers such as Rittal, Rolec and Haseke. Our team of well-qualified specialists will be happy to help you with the local installation of your control units.

Connection options - anything is possibleOur new compact connection console is designed for support arm assembly and can also be installed in existing support arm systems using a 48 mm Ø pipe. All of the connections on the industrial PC are easily accessible in a spacious connection space. The connection area can opened quickly and the device can then be connected to the interior cable plugs on the support arm; the IP address registra-tion is automatic.

Support arm systems

The ROLEC product range includes a total of seven product series with different technical charac-teristics – for light, medium and heavy stresses. Each system is compiled using individual compo-nents and not only takes the visual appearance, i.e. matching the machine/system/operating element, into account, but also quick and easy installation of the components.

The Rittal product range: Use within a static load range of 400 to 1800N. Continuous combination options with a wide range of functions. Safe cable protection for all applications. Maximum efficiency and minimal power consumptionEnergy optimisation: thanks to innovations by CRE Rösler, the power consumption of the Panel PC can be adjusted to specific requirements. Depending on the application scenario for the various pro-duction units, the displays can be controlled or put into sleep mode from a primary computer or ad-justments can be made directly on each Panel PC. This drastically reduces energy consumption: an efficiently-designed lighting system for display backlighting saves electricity costs, is environmentally friendly, improves image quality and extends the unit’s service life.

Heat stays outsideThanks to a perfectly thought out concept, heat never penetrates the interior of the PC and is instead, conducted out via the casing’s outer panel. The cool interior not only saves energy, but also extends the service life (MTBF = mean time between failures) of the devices and thus saves on costs.

HDMI Premium Extender solution for uncompromising qualityEven a high-quality HDMI or DVI cable can only transmit a HD video signal over a cable length of a few metres without losses to picture quality.Longer cables cause signal loss, resulting either in disruptions to the picture or even the complete loss of the signal. This is where our solution comes in – offering inexpensive, error-free HDMI trans-mission at distances of up to 100 metres.

Data transmission via PCoIP One new development from CRE Rösler Electronic is a zero client implemented in an industrial moni-tor that connects to the server via PCoIP. This solution in particular offers high-performance graphics and excellent user comfort – even for HD video or 3D graphics applications. Process values are dis-played immediately and user input is transmitted without any perceptible delay.

Features The Extender transmits HDMI signals digitally at full resolution and with effectively zero loss. As a result, no problems whatsoever are experienced with picture quality – no shadowing, no dimming, no blurring and no loss of dynamics.

The Extender also retransmits RS-232 signals (e.g. for controlling digital signage displays), a 10/100Base-T fast Ethernet signal (e.g. for controlling IP switching sockets), signals from the vast majority of IR TV remotes, as well as power from transmitter to receiver.

HDMI Extender neatly integrated into the industrial monitorOur idea to integrate the HDMI Extender into our industrial monitors is a cost-effective and resource-friendly innovation. No external receiver mounting is required, nor are any extra cables needed from the Extender to the display.

Greater efficiency for the “smart factory” with PCoIP zero clientsPCoIP technology is the missing link between centralised computer servers or data stores and de-centralised control panels or mobile workstations in the field. The solution removes the need for local processing power since the output image and the software is sent to the PCoIP-capable user device by the master server.

TouchscreenA touch screen offers simple and intuitive functions for the operation and monitoring of plant and machinery. In this scenario, the interface screen is used both for data input and display, whereby tou-ching parts of the screen image can directly control the program flow of a technical device – typically a computer. An external keyboard or mouse is typically no longer needed.

Resistive touchscreens react to pressure, which connects two electrically conductive layers at a specific point. This technology ensures easy operation using fingers, gloved fingers and pens. The surface is relatively resistant to dirt and is usually made of plastic.

Industry-optimised PCAP touchscreens are a capacitive touchscreen variant. These touch sensors consist of rows and columns of transparent, conductive material applied to a support layer made of glass. If a voltage is applied to this pattern of rows and columns, a uniform, measurable electrostatic field is generated. If a conductive object, e.g. a finger, approaches the touch surface, the electrostatic field is interrupted at this point. This can be measured and reported on in terms of pro-duction capacity changes.

Advantages in comparison to a conventional PCAP touchscreen:

• unaffected by liquid splashes/spills• cleaning is possible during use without activating the touch interface• palm rejection: the touch function is not triggered by a palm press – “Ten input points” up to 10 simultaneous finger presses are evaluated by the controller• can still be operated while wearing gloves• high transmission - better light permeability• higher EMC resistance
