All-rounders for exacting demands. 3 work steps, 1 machine.

In other words: cutting, splitting, loading – no big deal for the 7 models of

the Spaltfix range. The hydraulic belt andthe tight grip of the advance system move

the logs under the knife where they are cutinto small, handy logs. From there they are

moved on for splitting: depending on the

model, the logs can be split into 18 parts.And in the end, the timber is transported

off via the conveyor belt. Very simple: cut-ting, splitting, loading – done!

Spaltfix 280-10t

The semi-automatic firewood cut-splitterSpaltfix 280 by Posch with its splitting powerof 10t cuts and splits timber in diametersup to 28 cm, producing two, four or six pie-ces. With the lifting mechanism, no effortis required when hoisting logs onto the tim-ber support. The hydraulic conveyor beltthen transports the timber to the 700 mm Øsaw blade. The 4m conveyor belt (optional)then transports the finished billets to thepoint of loading. The Spaltfix 280 is alsoavailable as a “Turbo” model. In this ver-sion, a larger hydraulic pump provides a 30 % higher splitting speed.

Spaltfix 3100 with 12 t splitting power and“Autospeed” for the most exacting demands.Cuts and splits timber up to a diameter of 32 m in one go into 2, 4, 6 or 8 billets. Longi-tudinal and cross conveyors feed the tim-ber to be cut to the machine. An automaticmechanism for retaining the log, mountedin front of the 800 mm saw blade, ensuresa firm hold and smooth cutting. A conveyorbelt then transports the wood off for loading.

The powerful Spaltfix 3200 with its splittingpower of 15t and “Autospeed” function forefficient firewood preparation cuts andsplits timber up to a diameter of 32 cm in-to up to 12 billets in one cycle. Cutting lengthadjustable from 20 cm to 50 cm. For safetypurposes, the timber is automatically clam-ped down and held hydraulically. After spit-ting, the conveyor belt ensures automaticremoval of the billets. The sloping conveyorbelt may simply be folded in toward the machine, making it easy to transport.

The powerful Spaltfix K-4000 with its split-ting power of 22 t and “Autospeed” functi-on splits timber up to 40 cm Ø into 4, 6, 8,12 and even 15 billets in one cycle. Logsare fed into the large cutting and splittingarea with all-purpose cross and roller con-veyors (optional). An automatic gripper,with wood diameter display, seizes thewood. A Harvester SuperCut system, achainsaw with 75cm guide bar length and22 kW drive is used for cutting. After cut-ting, the wood moves to the splitting troughwhere a sturdy piston pushes it against thesplitting knife with a force of 22t.

The new horizontal split-ter meets every demand when it comes toprofessional firewood preparation. Logsare advanced more quickly, so that cycletimes are shorter and the hourly output ishigher.
