Production Log: 17/09/14

I have been working on my Preliminary Task Design;

drafts for my Haydon magazine called The Stag. I’m not good at drawing which is both a gift and a curse because

I can’t make my intentions clear enough, but it will help

me when it comes to showing how I improved on my work.

As far as the front cover goes, I’m somewhat happy with

my draft and how it each preview of an article is

structured. I’m particularly proud of my use of the front of St Nick’s to frame an article title around it.

“HAYDON SCHOOL and why it’s the best school in Hillingdon (no, seriously)”

I am happy with my ideal structure of the contents page; a preview of an article next to a picture that I think

relevant to it. For example, an article dedicated to introducing Year 7s put next to an image of a Year 7

student standing amidst all the hustle and bustle of the

Maths corridor.
