Post production This is an example of myself editing together some footage that will be used at the start of the video I began by using the razor tool which separated the footage that wasn’t needed and then after this made sure that the video flowed properly by adding black cuts in and out making it more dramatic. I also made sure that the footage was all in line with the rest of the footage that had already been set up this was done by using the mouse tool as it allowed me to move all the footage into place so that the storyline made sense and didn’t overlap each other.

This is an example of myself editing together some footage that will be used at the start of the video I began by using the razor tool which separated the footage that wasn’t needed and then after this made sure that the video flowed properly by adding black cuts in and out making it more dramatic.

I also made sure that the footage was all in line with the rest of the footage that had already been set up this was done by using the mouse tool as it allowed me to move all the footage into place so that the storyline made sense and didn’t overlap each other.

This is an example of myself using the tool colour corrector this allows people to change the colour of certain footage so that they are able to change the colours of the overall page whether it be adding a brighter colour, for this footage I decided to add a little more of orange so that the brightness slightly increased and the footage adding a warmer colour to it making it more visible.

The colour corrector I believe was very useful because it allowed me to add light that could look natural that wouldn’t be able to be done through natural light. I also believe that the equipment is relatively easy to use because it didn’t take too much time to balance out.

This is an example of myself changing the brightness of footage, for example I used the tool called input and output levels which allows the mix of black and white to be changed whether that be increasing it to be darker or lighter. In this part of editing I changed the footage to be a lighter colour because the day started to become darker so the light became dimmer so more white was needed to balance the whole production out.

I believe that this has been very useful because the software gives a good indication on if you have gone too far with the lighting.

Another important thing that needed to be done when editing is making the video smooth when it comes out, for example I used the tool called rendering which allowed me to make the video smooth so that there was no stopping in between the video.

This part of editing is the easiest part because its only having to wait for the video to smooth itself out.
