• The most successful films of Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures have a universal appeal, mainly aimed at children e.g. The Avengers, Toy Story, where as the most successful films of Warner. Bros are more appropriate for teens and above e.g. The Dark Knight, The Hobbit.

• Some of the company’s most popular films are very similar in regards to genre and themes e.g. The Avengers and Iron Man 3, and The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises.

• Both of the production companies are incredibly successful and well known, however I think Warner Bros may outperform Walt Disney as a whole because it has a wider portfolio of different films, of different genres, and aimed at different age groups, whereas Walt Disney is predominantly aimed at children.
