AVILA HOTEL à AVILA BEACH HOTEL

The Avila Hotel decided to rename its hotel due to the extensive upgrade of the beach, to the widely

familiar AVILA BEACH HOTEL.

The name change is part of the previously launched quality improvement of which the beach extension

TUI & Chogogo: TIME TO SMILE Resort

On November 2nd, 2015 Chogogo Resort and TUI have joined forces to implement the travel giant's self catering

- TIME TO SMILE, SMART Inclusive concept in the renovation of Chogogo accommodations.

Curaçao is the first long haul destination to receive CHATA Member TUI’s TIME TO SMILE implementation

of the SMART Inclusive concept in one of the accommodations. TIME TO SMILE is a self catering

concept for apartments which is due to further expand into hotels in the near future.

The goal of TUI's TIME TO SMILE is to cater to all the Dutch travelers' needs, the intention is to ensure that Dutch travelers are accommodated as if they were at

home with larger beds, a spacious porch, walk-in showers, a modern kitchen and a fast Wi-Fi connection.

TIME TO SMILE Concept is offered exclusively on the Dutch Market, since it is a concept which ensures that the accommodations are tailored to the Dutch Tourists'

needs.

Papagayo Curaçao was already the residence of the TUI crew but since January 1st KLM also has chosen the

Avis Budget has signed a partnership agreement with ConnectMiles, the frequent traveler program of

Copa Airlines.

As part of the multi-year agreement, Avis Car Rental and Budget Car Rental have been named car rental partners for Copa Airlines' ConnectMiles loyalty

program. Members of ConnectMiles can now save money on Avis and Budget rentals around the globe and earn 100 miles per day when they rent an Avis or Budget vehicle. In addition, Avis and Budget will

On December 16th, 2015 the inaugural flight of Aruba Airlines landed at approximately 10 am at

Curaçao Hato Airport. Aruba Airlines will operate 3 weekly flights to and from Curaçao. The airline will furthermore serve the following destinations

mostly from Aruba Beatrix Airport: Miami, Panama, Maracaibo, Valencia and the Dominican Republic.

AC Travel & Leisure is a new company founded by young entrepreneurs. The company is committed to offer competitive value for money products and high

In May 2016 they will be launching their first product under the name of “Curaçao Island Pass”. The idea

behind this concept is to offer tourists and visitors deals and discounts on tours, activities, attractions, excursions and free public transportation through a card that can

be purchased for a small amount of money.

CAP & CAH: Terminal Expansion Project

Development

On January 12th, 2016 CAP's ceremony of the ground breaking for the extension of the airport terminal building took place.

CAH in cooperation with CAP are teaming up in this ambitious growth plan. CAP will invest about two thirds of the total

investments in this extension and CAH will invest the other third which is a total of 14 million U.S. Dollars for this extension. This airport extension will greatly upgrade the passenger experience of our island's visitors, both leisure and business, as well as our

local people who use the airport. This extension will also contribute to the airport's competitive position in the

international airline arena.
