• John Soibatian, the president of IO Hawk, is the leading American distributor of the newly popular “personal mobility devices” (all made in China).

The war of the hoverboards began in earliest in the rainbow-colored halls of the 2015 Toy Fair, mid-February, New York City. It is considered a revolutionary form of personal transportation.

The self-balancing scooter is an invention product which patent belongs to Shen Zhen Technology Co.

The designed allow users control the vehicle to go forward, accelerate, decelerate, or brake it ;

The design has left and right balance similar to the technique of riding a bicycle.

Lights down the bottom were designed to keep you safe at night.

The product is designed for consumers who likes the sport and the adventure.

There are warehouses in China, Europe and , USA markets for its distribution and to be sold to consumers.

For European market, they can ship it out of German warehouses.

The US Market ships them from the US warehouse.

Most of their products are sold online.

IO Hawk and it’s direct and indirect competitors also have a lot of celebrity endorsements from people like Nick Jonas and Justin Bieber.

The direct competition for IO Hawk is PhunkeeDuck. The product itself is almost identical and has similar celebrity endorsements. Its range in price is also a little lower than the IO Hawk.

They advertise that they are “the next step in the evolution of transportation.”

They also advertise a top speed of 12 MPH and one charge lasting over ten miles.

Our recommendations for this product is that they lower their price to compete better with their indirect and direct competitors. But also still try to maintain quality in their product.We also recommend that they advertise their products through another outlet other than celebrity endorsements.
