Epic 1 LEGO Creator 6910 – Sports Car

Description As driver, I want to have a chassis frame for a 4 wheel-sports car.

The car should be a 2-seater (closed, hard top roadster).

Coloured white and green.

Curved hood, 4 cylinders engine in the back

Moveable spoiler on the trunk.

Acceptance

Criteria

• 2-seater,

• Curved hood

• White and green body frame.

• Front lights are mounted higher than rear lights.

1.1 User Story Chassis Frame LEGO Creator 6910 – Sports Car Sprint #:…..……

Description As driver, I want to have a chassis frame for a 4 wheel-sports car.

For reasons of stability, the frame should be 2-layered.

For reasons of aesthetics, I want 2 different colours for each layer: top-level colour

white, bottom colour grey.

Acceptance

Criteria

• Overall length of the frame: 8 knobs



1.2 User Story Car Body bottom LEGO Creator 6910 – Sports Car Sprint #:…..……

Description As a driver, I want to have a 2-seater.

For aesthetics, the body colour is green with a white coloured hood.

For stability, the bottom hull should be 3-layered (green).

For aerodynamics, the hood is curved.

Acceptance

Criteria

• Curved back wheel pants.

• Red rear lights left & right.

• Yellow front and rear middle.

1.3 User Story Car Body top LEGO Creator 6910 – Sports Car Sprint #:…..……

Description As driver I want to have a strong, 4 cylinders engine in the rear, covered by grill, only

one cylinder row is visible.

For aerodynamics there is a moveable spoiler at the back

Acceptance

Criteria

• Transparent front lights left & right.

• Front lights are mounted a little higher than rear lights.



1.4 User Story Aesthetics LEGO Creator 6910 – Sports Car Sprint #:…..……

Description • black interior,

• white roof,

• white, sloped backside of the coach,

• a grey tube at each side,

• Spoiler is green without knobs.

Epic 2 LEGO Creator 31000 – Pick-up truck

Description I want a pick-up truck to transport 2 people and a load in the back.

Acceptance

Criteria

• For safety: rear lights (red) should be mounted as high as possible.

• I want to drive off-road as well (provide suitable clearance)

2.1 User Story Chassis frame LEGO Creator 31000 – Pick-up truck Sprint #:…..……

Description As driver, I want a 2-layered chassis frame, bottom colour grey, top colour: red.

I want a red/grey front bumper with front lights and a grill.

Rear bumper (grey only) should hold a grill as well.

Acceptance

Criteria

• Chassis frame must be 6 knobs long.

• Wheel base and chassis clearance height: as large as possible.



2.2 User Story Car Body bottom LEGO Creator 31000 – Pick-up truck Sprint #:…..……

Description For aesthetic reasons, I want curved back wheel pants, and straight, plain surface (no

knobs) front wheel pants.

I want blue interior and black doors.

Acceptance

Criteria

• Car body consists of two layers only.

• For stability, the 90° shaped parts have to be used.



2.3 User Story Car Body Top LEGO Creator 31000 – Pick-up truck Sprint #:…..……

Description I want black doors and a blue top.

To demonstrate power, I want two curved rollover bars mounted at the cabin top and

rear back light pylons each.

Acceptance

Criteria

Conformity to OEM’s design restrictions:

• Trapezoid-shaped hood.

• Windshield is sloped at right- and left-hand sides both.

Epic 3 LEGO Creator 5761 – Digger, front loader

Description As worker on a construction site, I want to have a front loading digger.

The turn radius of the digger should be as low as possible. At other construction

companies, I saw diggers with an articulated joint in the middle dividing the chassis in

front axis and rear axis.

The front chassis part should hold shovel and front axle/wheels; the rear part should

hold cabin, engine, and rear axle/wheels.

To work at all weather conditions, I want to have a closed cabin. The engine shall be

covered by a two-folded grill.

For mud protection, the rear wheels should be covered by curved pants.

At the rear, there should be a bumper with horizontal exhausting pipes at the top.

For better visibility, red rear lights should be mounted above the bumper at the height

of the rear wheel pants.

On top of the cabin roof there should be a yellow signal light.

Acceptance

Criteria

• Two part chassis; articulated joint in the middle to connect back and rear chassis

parts. (mandatory)

• Closed cabin. (mandatory)

• Yellow signal light on top of cabin roof. (optional)



3.1 User Story Rear chassis part LEGO Creator 5761 – Digger, front loader Sprint #:…..……

Description As driver of the digger, I want to have an engine compartment as large as possible to

hold a powerful engine.

Two air-pressure cylinders are mounted below the cabin floor. For better accessibility,

they are located between articulated joint and engine compartment.

The engine shall be covered by a two-folded grill.

For better accessibility, I want to have the covers for oil and water on top of the engine

compartment, near the grill.

As driver, I want to have a comfortable cabin; the cabin floor should cover the

articulated joint as much as possible.

Acceptance

Criteria

• A high engine compartment.

• Rear bumper and back of engine compartment are mounted on top of two small

anti-shock pads.

3.2 User Story Front chassis part LEGO Creator 5761 – Digger, front loader Sprint #:…..……

Description As driver of the digger, I want to have as much degrees of freedom in lowering the

shovel. Thus, there should be a slight slope in the front of the front chassis part.

Acceptance

Criteria

• When connected with the articulated joint, both axles/wheels must have the same

clearance (optional).

• For safety/visibility, the front lights should be mounted as high as possible on top of

the front chassis after the shovel levers.



3.3 User Story Shovel LEGO Creator 5761 – Digger, front loader Sprint #:…..……

Description The shovel is mounted with two horizontal axles to the cramps of the movable levers.

Acceptance

Criteria

• For degrees of freedom in lowering the shovel, the horizontal axles must be placed

as high as possible on top of the upper shovel rim.

• For security reasons, there must be a certain clearance between shovel and

mounted axles/cramps.
