WHY TO BURN PELLETS

Calorific power of pellets:Pellets are highly suitable for burning in all solid fuel-fired boilers. Their calorific value varies ac-cording to the type of material they are made of.

What are the savings as a result of own production of pellets, feed or fertilizers?The cost of electric energy for crushing of material is ca CZK 120 per 1 ton, the cost of pellet-ing is ca 130 CZK per 1 ton. So, the total cost of electric energy is ca CZK 250 per 1 ton only.

How much does heating in a family home cost?The annual consumption of a two-storey family home is ca 5 tons of wood pellets. If you burn pellets of agricultural materials, the consumption will be ca 7 tons. That means the cost of CZK 1,250 per a heating season only.

What is the usual price of wood pellets?The market price is ca CZK 4,000 per 1 ton of wood pellets. The market price of agricultural pellets is around CZK 3,000 per 1 ton.

It means that you do not need to use your pellet mill just for your own needs and you can sell your surplus production in your neighborhood.

How to burn pellets?

Pellets can be burned either in a common solid fuel-fired boiler (with an inserted fire grate with 4 mm holes) or in a fully automatic boiler capable of maintaining the flame and automatic stoking according to a temperature set on your interior thermostat. A fully automatic boiler can save you a quantity of burnt pellets and if you make pellets yourself, you are not depen-dent on the market price of pellets.

Plastic lubricant for bearings, with a drop point of up to 300°C, protects not only the bearings but, above all, the shaft.

The shaft on the rollers is made of Swiss steel, which is extraordinarily strong and tough, but, above all, elastic.

Switch with overvoltage and undervoltage protection ensures protection of the motor during pelleting of hard materials.

German bearings in the rollers ensure smooth operation of the mill up to a tem-perature of 200°C and protect the shaft

PELLET MILLS

NOT ONLY FOR SERIAL PRODUCTIONPROFI

The PROFI line is designed for pelleting at home and in small businesses, but also for serial production. These pellet mills are designed for production of fuel pellets, feed mixtures, fertilizers as well as for reduction of material size. The Green Profi mill is fitted with components of the highest quality to withstand heavy loads. The pelleting process is fluent and of very high quality. The dies are made of specially high quality steel and treated by quenching, which ensures high resis-tance against wear. An especially good motor is indispensable to achieve high quality of pellets and outstanding perfor-mance. Therefore, LENZE motors are used, which we install on customer’s request. Switches can be those made by the German manufacturer MOELLER, which include an overvoltage protector that will prevent burning of the motor coiling in a case of overloading. The undervoltage trigger prevents incidental self-starting of the machine in the case of a power-outage and subsequent switch on. We always produce the PROFI line pellet mills according to their specific use by the customer, according to customer’s economical requirements, the type of material to be processed and its technological properties. The Green Energy Profi pellet mills are often used in pelleting lines, especially the GE 300 and GE 400 types. The Green Energy PROFI pellet mills are of very high-quality, and they undergo thorough quality checks.

HAMMER CRUSHER 9 FQ

CHIPPER DS300

It can crush wood chippings, straw, hay, paper, cardboard, horse droppings etc. It is used to prepare material before pelleting. The crusher is fitted with hammers on a shaft, which crush everything to fine chips. The size of chips is controlled by means of holes in the screen. We supply 4 mm screens as standard. An additional ventilator fan ensures fast discharge of crushed material to a height of up to 3000 mm. The capacity of the machine depends on the type of material; the table applies to wood, spruce chippings. Humidity of all material to be crushed should not exceed 30%.

The chipper is designed for crushing of branches and trunks of various types of wood. Using this machine, you can crush soft spruce and pine, deciduous fruit trees as well as hard types of wood, oak and beech. The mechanical feeder ensures the thrust and constant speed of feeding of material, significantly accelerating the working process and ensuring protection of the operator. Chippings can be used for composting, as fuel or for further processing into pellets or briquettes. The size of crushed chippings can be changed by setting of the knives; it usually ranges from 3 cm to 5 cm. The capacity of the machine varies according to the type of material and the size of inserted material.

This boiler is designed for burning of a wide range of pellet types, both wood pellets and agricultural pel-lets. It is fitted with a burner designed to enable thor-ough burning of pellets, disregarding the type of ma-terial. Agricultural pellets do not fuse together, and so the burner does not go out. It contains 33 air nozzles in 8 rows, which ensures fire penetration even through the worst type of material. You can program on the boil-er a time for stoking by the worm conveyor, an amount of pellets per 1 stoking or a time interval between stok-ing. Moreover, you can regulate the amount of air flow-ing into the burner to ensure optimum burning. Thanks to these possibilities, you can burn a wide range of ma-terials in this „Super-burner“, and as soon as you start producing another type of pellets, you just change the settings and ensure outstanding combustion! The boiler can be fitted with a fire grate to combine pellets with a solid fuel.

SAWDUST DRIER

Drying is important for correct preparation of material before pelleting. By dry-ing waste sawdust you can produce a valuable raw matter for production of fuel. Hot air is blown into the drier, and the flow of air dries up the material inside. Sawdust is sucked in at the front end of the drying zone by means of the worm of the conveyor, and the material to be dried gets rid of excessive humidity by swirling hot air. The drier is equipped with continuous regulation of the amount of sucked-in material.

The drum cooler is designed for cooling of pellets, which, upon leaving a pellet mill, can reach temperatures of up to 100 °C. Pellets in the drum are cooled by air, gradually cooling down in the cooler. The cooler has two air inlets and two air outlets which can be connected to an exhausting device, which reduces dustiness. The speed of cooling can be adjusted.

After material is mixed and addition-ally dampened, it must be left to settle for a minimum period of 4 hours before it can be pelleted. In the container, dampness distributes properly and the material settles down. A well-settled and prepared material increases the capacity of a pellet mill, the quality of pellet binding, and also, it reduces to a significant extent the wear of the pellet mill and its components. This container ensures continuous operation of the pellet mill, prevents downtime, thus reducing the cost of operation, which has a great influence on the price of production of 1 ton of pellets.

The worm conveyor is designed for continuous feeding to a pellet mill with manual operation. The height of the worm conveyor can be adjusted, so that you can install it above various pellet mills. Thanks to its variator, you can fluently control the motor speed and ensure the most optimal capacity of a pellet mill, always according to the type of material to be processed. The capacity of a pellet mill varies, and it depends on several factors: how soft a material is, how humid it is and how well it is homogenized. If material is well-prepared for pelleting, the capacity of a pellet mill is highest. The variator is a de-vice able to change the motor speed; in this way you can control the amount of transported material.

The paddle pellet conveyor is designed for transporting of ready-made and cooled pellets. It can be used for conveying pellets into a Big Bag filler or into a container of a packing device. Its height can be adjusted, as necessary. It can transport up to 560 kg of ready-made pellets in an hour. We are able to manufacture a conveyor with a different hour capacity, according to customer’s requirements.

This filler serves as a container of cooled-down pellets from which you can fill ready-made pellets into big bags for transporting. The width of big bag attachment can be adjusted.
