The ZoneSense NZ1 is a single zone Fire Alarm Control Panel. The prolonged standby time makes the system particularly suit-able for non monitored applications. The facility to provide alarm verification and smoke detector only response reducesunwanted alarms.The ZoneSense NZ1 is designed for commercial applications and has been approved to NZS4512:2003. The ZoneSense NZ1R is designed for residential applications and has a ‘Reset’ facility on the front panel. This allows the end user to reset the panel from an alarm state without having to open the door.

Product Overview

The NZ400 is an automatic Fire Alarm Control Panel. The NZ400 has four 2-wire fire detection circuits able to accommodate heat detectors, smoke detectors, manual call points or a combination of these devices. Programming and interrogating the panel configuration is made easy with the inclusion of a seven-segment display.

Acrylic index can be easily fitted or removed. The index is back lit. The NZ400 has two bell outputs to alert personnel in the event of a fire. These outputs are monitored for short and open circuit conditions. With the addition of an SGD Type II board the system can signal the brigade. Up to four (4) programmable relays can be added to the panel using the serial relay board.

Product Overview

The NZ3200 is a Fire Alarm Control Panel that is available in 8, 16, 24 or 32 zone versions. Each of the zones interfaces with conventional two wire detectors. The NZ3200 is offered with two different size cabinets with capacities of 16 and 32 zonesrespectively. Programming the system options is via an easy to use DIP switch.

All common system and zone alarm LED’s can be remotely displayed with the addition of a simple plug in RS485 remote mim-ic option. The easy to remove / fit acrylic index is provided with built in back lighting to make compliance with New Zealand installation requirements as easy as possible.

The ZoneSense PLUS AR (Agent Release) Panel is a dedicated panel for agent release systems. Housed in a metal cabinet, the ZoneSense PLUS AR is available in either four (4) or eight (8) zones. Based on a ZoneSense PLUS Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP), the AR version is fitted with an Agent Release Panel Add-on (control card and termination board) and a dual action yel-low manual call point as standard. Product Overview

The Ampac Single Zone Occupant Warning System is available with a 25 Watt and 50 Watt audio output with an optional front panel control. The alert and evacuation signals are compliant to AS1670.1 and NZS4512 including voice messages as standard. The speaker circuit is protected and monitored for shorts and interruptions. Up to three spur lines (branches) are supported. A monitored strobe output is provided as standard which i supports both xenon and led strobes.

Each audio source (alert / evacuation signals, emergency paging and secondary analogue audio input) has a dedicated volume control. The Ampac EV3000 Occupant Warning and Intercom System is designed for the purpose of enabling the orderly evacuation of occupants, from a building or structure, in the event of an emergency.

The system comprises of two (2) sub-systems. The first being the Occupant Warning System (OWS) and the other the Occupant Intercom System (OIS). While the Warning and Intercom System have separate controls, they coexist in a Apanel that is logically presented and aesthetically pleasing.

The Occupant Warning System makes use of speakers strategically placed around the site, to broadcast ALERT, and/or EVACUATION signals or public address announcements. The OWS may be automatically initiated or manually operated. When not used in an emergency situation, the EV3000 can broadcast background music and/or general paging announcements.

The Occupant Intercom System (OIS) consists of front panel control at the Emergency Control Panel (ECP) and Warden Intercom Phones (WIP) that are strategically placed throughout the building. Communication is only possible between the WIP and ECP.

For larger sites, multiple control panels may be networked. ABS (BX1) and Metal (BX10) cabinet versions.

Product Overview

The Ampac Duct Sampling Unit is designed to monitor levels of smoke in air ducts operating in air speeds of 0.5 to 20 me-ters per second. The duct smoke detector can be fitted to any wall of a ventilation duct and has two tubes that extend into the duct through punched holes. The perforated sampling tube is placed in the airflow upstream of the exhaust tube which causes a pressure differential in the duct detector. Air is sucked up the sampling tube, across the detector and exhausted back into the air duct.

Using the 360mm sampling pipe supplied, an air duct of up to 560mm can be monitored. For duct widths greater than 560mm, three other lengths of sampling pipe are available.

• Both sampling and exhaust pipes are fitted to the back box without the need for tools making installation easier • The cover of the duct smoke detector is monitored to ensure working integrity and if removed, causes a fault to

Product Overview

There are a variety of XP95 interfaces available to suit a number of individual applications. Standard interfaces are fitted with bi-directional short circuit isolators so that they are unaffected by a single short circuit on either loop input or output. The ex-ception to this is the Main Input/Output Unit which is not isolated. DIN-Rail interfaces feature enclosures that clip to standard 35mm DIN rails or are screwed to the base of a larger enclosure. They enable fire system designers to create multi-purpose interfaces for individual sites.

The Intrinsically Safe range of products includes the compact I.S. Sounder, I.S. Beacon and I.S. Sounder / Beacon. The range is suitable for all intrinsically safe signalling applications including fire, security and process control. Approvals include ATEX and IECEx and GOST-R for Zone 0 applications and FM approval for Class I Division 1 and Class I Zone 0 applications. The I.S. Beacon optimises the effectiveness of its six high output LEDs via a prismatic lens design.

The I.S. combined Sounder and Beacon requires only one Zener barrier or galvanic isolator to run both sounder and beacon or alternatively the unit can be operated as individual signals. Power to the I.S. range should be via a certified zener barrier or galvanic isolator whose output parameter is no greater than, Uo=28v dc, Io=93mA,and Po=660mw. The beacon is internally input overload and reverse polarity protected and is end of line monitoring resistor certified.

Product Overview

The flameproof range of products is ideal for hazardous areas, specifically Zone 1 and 2 applications. The use of flameproof technology ensures that engineers installing into hazardous areas need not fit an intrinsically safe barrier and the associ-ated wiring requirements. Sound level outputs are up to 117dB(A) at 1 metre with a choice of 32 alarm tones and 3 remotely selectable stages.

Housings are manufactured from corrosion proof, marine grade copper free LM6 aluminium which is phosphated and powder coated. All models have two M20 cable entries, large termination areas and an ingress protection of IP66/67. Two entry points for cabling are present for IN and OUT wiring, thus eliminating the requirement for additional flameproof junction boxes.

A floor mounting bracket is available for the Surface Mount Door Holders. With this the Door Holder can be mounted in any convenient position on the floor to suit the door. It is supplied in a white finish with mounting instructions and is compatible with standard conduit back boxes.

The non-adjustable, slim style keeper plate is for use with 200N Door Holders. It is an alternative to the standard adjustable keeper design where the gap between the door and the magnet needs to be kept to a minimum.
