ANDERSE WOORDEBOEKIE (Senior and High School Gr 4-12) Hierdie gebruikersvriendelike, unieke, “anderse” woordeboekie en Taalleer kan vanaf Graad 4 tot graad 12 deur Afrikaans addisionele taalleerders gebruik word.

Jarelange ondervinding in die klaskamer het die skrywer bewus gemaak van leerders se onvermoë om altyd korrekte woorde in ‘n woordeboek na te slaan.

Die doel van hierdie unieke boekie is om dit makliker te maak om gou die regte woord op te spoor; daarom is die boek in kategorieë ingedeel en geïllustreer.

Afdeling A en B is ‘n mini-woordeboekie wat onderskeidelik woorde wat in taalstrukture gebruik word, en woorde uit alle moontlike onderwerpe dek. In Afdeling C word al die taalreëls verduidelik. Soms word reëls, wat leerders moeilik vind om te verstaan, in Engels verduidelik. Tweede taal leerders sal beslis hierby baat.

Skryfwerk en Taalvaardighede vir ‘n tweede taal leerder sal beslis vergemaklik en meer geniet word, aangesien woorde in ‘n betrokke kategorie nageslaan kan word en die Engelse verduideliking van die reëls dit makliker maak om te begryp.

Hierdie boeke is werkboeke vir Gr. 8 - 12 eerste addisionele leerders. Die eerste DRIE boeke vir graad 8-10 is daarop gemik om leerlinge voor te berei vir elke volgende graad. Daar word dus baie klem gelê op die toepassing van reëls en woordeskat. Gr 11 en 12 is EEN boek en daar was die uitgangspunt om leer-linge deur herhaling voor te berei op die eindeksamen en daarom is dit in daardie vorm aangebied.

Die eerste 40 bladsye is die reëls met lyste sinonieme, antonieme, idiomatiese uitdrukkings, ens. By elke reël is daar ook ‘n oefening, maar baie kort. Die reëls is daar vir leerlinge om na te slaan as hulle oor iets twyfel.

Die verskillende temas begin met EEN OF TWEE leesbegrippe. Die oefeninge dek die belangrikste vrae wat gewoonlik in vraestelle voorkom en dit word telkens herhaal. Die leerlinge / studente kan die werk as tuiswerk doen en onderwysers kan dan die werk saam met hulle in die klas nasien. Die oefeninge leen dit ook tot aanvullende verduidelikings.

Ons sou aanbeveel dat die onderwyser saam met die leerlinge 10 woorde in elke tema kies wat hulle dan vir klastoetse kan leer. Die temas wat gekies is, kan dalk van nut wees vir die skryfwerk. Daar is genoeg sinne en woordeskat in die boek sodat die onderwyser nie ook nog ekstra werk het om reekse sinne en woordeskat op te stel nie. Daar is ook vertalings wat hulle sal help met skryfwerk.

Aan die einde van die temas is daar aanvullende oefeninge vir hersiening. Vir elke graad is daar ook 6-8 opsommings.

Ter wille van beter begrip van die taalvaardighede, word Engelse vertalings gegee. Die behoefte aan sulke werkboeke spruit uit die skryfsters se jarelange ervaring in die klaskamer.
