PRODUCT CATALOGUE 2012

Founded at Sekinchan in Malaysia back in 1961 by Cheng King Fa, Khind Holdings Berhad ( Khind) was

started modestly by trading electrical goods. Driven by Fa’s clear vision, the trading business in the late

seventies grew to include the manufacturing of electrical accessories and lamps, gradually established it

as a wholesaler of electrical products.

In the mid-1980’s, the company started to manufacture its own brand of home consumer electrical prod-

ucts under the “Khind” brand. In 1992, Khind’s manufacturing expanded to include fans and other

household

appliances and by the turn of the millennium, the Group started distributing audio-visual products and

white goods.

Simultaneously Khind started venturing into markets abroad. It received its first export order from Dubai,

UAE in 1988 and within a span of 20 years the modest business was grown into a multimillion dollar export

business. Starting with Middle East which is the largest export market of Khind, the company exports its

products to well over 50 countries around the globe.

With the vision of becoming a world-class E&E company today Khind has more than 800 employees work-

ing in Malaysia, Hong Kong, China, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, Algeria and UAE.

Throughout the years company’s mission remains the same: to delight customers at all times, make

excellence company’s way of life, create positive brand awareness, maximize people’s potential to deliver

great results and build rewarding and lasting partnership with our customers.
