Our New Look After 30 plus years in business, it was a daunting thought

to change our logo, the most visual expression of who we

are. But like all things, change is inevitable. Our company

has certainly changed over the years, so it seemed only

natural that it was time for our logo to evolve as well.

When we first jumped into this project we did what we

always do, we reflected back to our history. For a com-

pany such as ours, who is deeply seated in our roots, we

always want to move forward and strive ahead while

staying grounded in where we come from.

That being said, we wanted something that looked and

felt familiar, but was updated and fresh. We wanted a

look that embodies our commitment to innovation, rela-

tionship building, and value. After several tries and sev-

eral years, we were able to find a branding partner who

understood our vision of helping our customers to create

lifetime memories for their clients special occasions.

So, if you didn’t already do a double take when you got

this catalog, go ahead and take a peek at our new look.

Our History

I

The Man Behind the GBS Visiont all began with Pravin J. Mody. Pravin

moved to the United States from Mumbai,

India in 1962 to pursue an education—first his

Bachelors of Science in Chemical Engineering fol-

lowed by a Master’s in Industrial Engineering from

the University of Oklahoma, and later an MBA from

Pepperdine University. Pravin was destined to be-

come an entrepreneur and started and sold several

businesses before founding GBS Linens in 1984. The

beginnings were modest, consisting of a very small

laundry business operated out of a leased facility in

Anaheim, California. But Pravin dedicated himself to

the business and considered it his third child—fol-

lowing his two children, Ameer and Sujata with his

wife and soulmate Sudha. The business developed

and grew into the company Pravin had envisioned.

Pravin retired in 2005 to pursue another passion,

helping others through the support of education and

health. He contributed to many philanthropic activi-

ties and was even a founding member of the Ana-

heim Health Fair, which he continued to actively

support every year. In 2015, Pravin and Sudha

pledged to build the PACE Mody Technical Institute

in Ahmednagar, India.

On February 27, 2016, Pravin peacefully passed away

leaving a legacy of success, good will and most of all

a beautiful wife and family. Those who spent time

with him knew he believed life was not only about

happiness, but about having meaning. He will be

greatly missed by all who knew him and the entire

GBS Linens family. Cheers to you Pravin J. Mody!

RentalEight facilities warehouse GBS’s vast inventory of specialty linen and chair

covers. With over 400 fabrics and styles to choose from, GBS is able to fulfill

the design visions of their clients for events of any size.

LaundryWith the capacity to wash several thousand pounds of linen per hour, GBS

offers a 48-hour turnaround for customer-owned linen.

SalesWhat’s great about buying linen from a company that rents as well? When

you purchase linen from GBS and have a need to sub-rent additional pieces

in the future, your colors will match! GBS also offers custom design and

manufacturing to meet our client's specific needs.

RestorationWhy throw away linen that is damaged? GBS offers restoration services to

analyze your linen and determine if damaged linen can be cut down into

smaller sizes and brought ‘back to useful life’.

Our Services

Scanning table which is used to check the rentallinens in after being returned from the customer.

RFID chip compared to the size of a coin.Sorting machine which is used to automatically sort linensbefore being washed.

Our Unique TechnologyIn addition to a broad linen inventory and strong customer service, one of our key
