The Invert™ converts 12 VDC to 110 VAC pure sine wave power to bring home conveniences into the cab while ensuring truck batteries are never too depleted to crank the engine.

The Invert comes with a controller that uses our patented DynaBalance™ technology to measure input voltage and input current (even under load) to dynamically estimate the battery’s state of charge. This enables the controller to indicate available battery capacity and turn off when the battery’s state of charge drops to the shut-off point.

Inverters that do not have this functionality can turn off too late if the inverter is only supplying a small amount of power, or too soon when the inverter is supplying high power (such as when powering a microwave).

With Purkeys’ custom-designed harnesses, trucks can power their systems efficiently and easily and increase productivity and work flow by eliminating unnecessary work.

We use quality wire that is insulated against vibration, abrasion, and heat. Additionally, all harnesses use wielding cable that is flexible and easy to manage. Grommets hold the parts in place so that they can’t slide (making them last longer), and the pass-through plate can be moved if needed, rather than drilling holes that may require being redone. A correctly-sized fuse cube protects the truck and eliminates “nuisance blows” while protecting the entire circuit, including the wire to the battery in the battery box.

The Purkeys Trailer Auxiliary Power System (TAPS)™ provides reliable AC power at the back of a commercial trailer. It allows drivers to power tools and equipment, such as electric pallet jacks, while on their routes rather than having to return to the warehouse or unload by hand. This makes electric pallet jacks more reliable and helps batteries last longer. The TAPS has a rugged, mount-anywhere, stainless-steel case and includes safety features that protect truck batteries.

The Direct™ Plus nosebox uses power from the 7-way aux to charge the liftgate batteries by utilizing a DC/DC converter to boost the voltage for optimal charging.

In cold temperatures, the DC/DC converter compensates for temperature by providing higher charging voltages. The result is well-charged liftgate batteries that will last longer and have ample power for liftgate operation.

It also includes an interior light controller (harness sold separately) designed to turn the lights on inside a trailer and automatically shut them off either via a timer or if the liftgate batteries drop to a low state of charge.

The Direct™ single-source liftgate charging system boosts voltage through a DC/DC converter to fully charge liftgate batteries faster and overcome voltage drop from the tractor to the liftgate batteries.

The smart control unit automatically regulates and extends liftgate battery charge time, which fully charges the batteries. This increases battery life and allows the liftgate to work more efficiently. The Direct draws power from either a stinger cord (dual or single pole) or a 7-way aux pin.

Purkeys developed the Liftgate Double Check™ to simplify the testing of liftgate charging systems. It can test liftgate charging systems on a wide variety of vehicles and allows drivers and technicians to diagnose various issues.

The Double Check includes LED indicators and a variety of adapters. The adapters can connect to dual pole, single pole, or 7-way cables.

All Liftgate Double Check kits come with the 20 Amp Applied Load Module. This accessory works with the Double Check and allows technicians to perform load tests on vehicles to ensure there is sufficient power for liftgate battery charging.

Purkeys’ Solar Dash™ Charging System is a solar-powered battery charger, created to help counteract parasitic loads.

The Solar Dash has a 20 watt solar panel that works with most heavy-duty vehicles. It helps avoid jumpstarts by helping vehicle batteries maintain a high state of charge during vehicle inactivity.

The Solar Dash comes with a 20 W solar panel, conversion controller, and either an adapter that plugs directly into a 12 V power port or ring terminals. It is portable, easy to use, and prolongs battery life.

OneConnect™With optional interior light control

The OneConnect™ connects power from the tractor to the trailer’s electrical system.

The OneConnect™ with Interior Light Control (harness sold separately) allows the driver to control the interior lights with the touch of a button. Interior lights will automatically shut off when the truck is started or when the timer runs out, ensuring batteries are never depleted.

The Aware audio interrupter is an advanced audio interface management system that integrates with a vehicle’s existing speaker array. The Aware system automatically silences all competing audio signals and reroutes messages from mobile phones and telematics devices through the speakers safely and effortlessly, without the driver having to turn the radio on, turn the volume down, or take their hands off the wheel. With the Aware system, hearing messages in real time is simple and intuitive, allowing drivers to focus on the road, while remaining alert and able to respond to changes in driving conditions.

The Aware is easy to install and uses plug-and-play technology to interface with the vehicle’s existing audio interface. Installers simply choose the Aware as an auxiliary device and after that, the system is paired and ready to do its job. The system remains hidden after installation. There is also an optional mobile phone microphone connection (sold separately) for hands-free use.

SteadyCharge™Keep auxiliary batteries charged

The SteadyCharge™ maintains accessory batteries on a trailer (such as heater batteries that need to be maintained in the summer) during months of non-use without overcharging them or depleting the tractor batteries.

It eliminates the need for extra charging cables and automatically charges using the existing 7-way cable. It will not interfere with other devices on the aux circuit, such as the ABS system.

The 5th Wheel Light is a coupling light, or trailer hitch light, that eliminates shadows on the locking mechanisms and removes the need for a flashlight. The bright LED lights makes this task safer and easier for drivers by freeing their hands and allowing them to easily see the connection when coupling truck and trailer.

The Capacitor Actuated Portable Starter (CAPS)™ is a portable jumpstart machine that can help fleets jumpstart their vehicles quickly, efficiently, and safely.

The jumpstarter’s power comes from its ultracapacitor; it can store and release the energy needed to jumpstart heavy-duty vehicles, but is smaller than a standard jumpstarter. The Dual Shield Low Voltage Disconnect (LVD) is designed to drastically reduce the parasitic drain on the vehicle’s batteries.

Parasitic loads are caused by electrical devices such as interior lights, radios, child safety devices, etc. While these devices are critical to operation, there is a risk that the parasitic drain will be enough to discharge the battery and keep the vehicle from starting.

The Dual Shield shuts off parasitic loads either by voltage or by time, depending on the model. While the ignition is on, the Dual Shield will not impact any of the electrical devices. Built-in LEDs indicate system status.

Using the trucks own power while boosting voltage, the BOSS™ Dump Trailer Charging System ensures fast, efficient charging for dump trailer batteries, thus increasing their reliability.

The BOSS connects to a 7-way trailer harness and maintains a high state of charge for dump trailer batteries, even in cold weather.
