Application: Model LP1000 and 2015 EXIT DEVICE CONTROLS are designed to operate surface mounted (rim mounted) exit devices (not supplied) from the outside using a tailpiece, which replaces the key cylinder on new or existing devices. Any standard pull can be mounted with Model 2015. They provide exterior access by combination, while allowing free egress at all times by interior exit device. The locks can be used with many leading brands of surface mounted (rim mounted) exit devices.

After entering the correct combination the thumbturn may be activated once before returning to locked mode. Designed for surface mounting on a wall or in a wall, any distance from the device being controlled. The switch controls are perfect for locations with regular personnel turnover such as data processing centers, employee entrances, service elevators, R&D labs, and restricted areas in hospitals, offices, hotels and airports. Can be used a convenient and secure reset switch on equipment such as escalators, elevators, and machinery for use after an emergency shutdown.
