THE PROCESS OF CREATING A TEASER POSTER

Firstly, I started my poster by selecting the background colour. I have chosen a grey colour

Then select the paint brush tool and find the hill paint brush. Selecting a large size and print in a new layer. Then to create the train tracks I selected the polygonal lasso tool to create the track shapes and fill with

the colour black.

Putting the pieces together will create the train tracks shape. Using the lasso tool and poluganoal lasso tool and create the shape of a stick and bag

Find an appropiate picture and drag it into the project file

Using the magic tool and the quick selection tool to delete the background image

Getting the black and white painted effect. Image -> Adjustments -> Threshold and adjust accordingly

On the internet I find a silhouette of a business man standing in the same stance at my character. Using the magic tool delete the background and tranforms the size to match the characters.

Using the magnetic lasso tool I trace around the tower half of the person and then fill the image with bthe colour black. I then adjust according to match my charcter.

I made a duplication of the train tracks so now I have two train tracks. Going on to Edit -> Transform -> Perspective I adjusted the angle and the shape of the train tracks

I placed the title more towards the top and put the release date for the short film. I created a tunnel for the first train tracks so we see the beginning and the second track is possibly the beginning or the end of

the train tracks.I got the image of the second main character of the short film and opened it on Photoshop.

Using the the quick selection tool to get rid of the background. Then I followed the same process as previously.

After I finished editing the second main character I flatten the layers and I then drag it into the project file. I then did the same thing as before and found a template to trace around and adjust to character

specification.

I then added other features such as, the website for the short film and another other adjustments to the layout. And here is the final outcome of the teaser poster.
